I LOVED DANYHOUSE AND YOUWILL TOO! I Jonathan the owner was the sweetest guy, he made sure we were warmed up(we went during a random cold streak)with hot tea, then explained all the good sites, how much they were and where to eat, n gave us discounts to a really tasty restaurant. Free wine and bites at 9pm every night plus a computer and wifi, we felt at home! Beds were warm and the place was very clean! We ended up staying in one night and meeting fellow hostelers! If I could write more...

The staff and the hostel are nice except the shower water doesn't goes very well. However, it was a good experience.

Really wonderful environment. Johnathon is fantastic--very warm and welcoming and will give you advice on what to visit and how to get there. Free wine at night is great along with free breakfast in the morning! I really just felt like I was a guest in someone's house instead of paying for a service. They really care about you here!

Simply, the best hostel i've ever been!!! Jonathan and Clifford are fantastics!!! The atmosphere is abosoulutly amazing!! And the free wine is just lovely!! Great hostel!!!

Best Hostel ever! feels like a family atmosphere and Jonathon is very welcoming and nice. free wine and cake and always good people to meet and have fun with. very well managed and always willing to answer questions or run thru the local map with u. And Cliff, the guy who lives there, absolute champion. really made my stay a great one! Best times in Italy at this hostel

This is honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere is out of this world. There was free homemade wine available to all guests at night (made by the owner´s grandfather). I am not talking about just one glass...pitchers of it. This really created a community feel. The whole hostel was having a blast. I have never meet a better staff at any hostel. DANY HOUSE is great! This is not a place to go to bed early. This is a place to stay up late telling tales from the road.

pros: staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, I will love this city just because of these nice staff! Food offer is more than breakfast:) cons: one bathroom for 2 room of around 10 or 6 beds, so wake up early in the morning! A little bit far away from downtown where museums ect locate but concerning Fierenze is a quite small town this is just a minor con. Beds way too soft for me. Thank Jonathan for the really italian and warm welcome!

relax and fun time there

Jonathan and Clifford are great hosts and the place has a very relaxed atmosphere. The free wine and nibbles at 9pm every night are a nice touch. Dany House is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Florence but you'll make that walk twice a day so it doesn't really matter.

So good! DanyHouse has a fantastic atmosphere - great talk with other guests over breakfast in the mornings and a jug of the family wine at nights. I'll say what others have said before: family feeling is certainly here in DanyHouse. Such a good place to stay.

Best stay of my vacation!! Jonathan, Clifford and Ella are the best, they will be more than hosts, they will be your family. It sounds stupid, but its the truth. If I'm ever back in Florence there is only one place I'd stay, Danyhouse.

Dany house is small. But it makes up for that with th best staff I have ever met. A youthful feel. Free breakfast. Knowledgable staff who will show you exactly where everything is. I ended up spending a day with one of the staff members and had loads of fun. This place is filled with character. Its a must stay.

This hostel was fantastic! Free wine and snacks every night, the staff took the time to learn our names and we had some great chats with other travelers. The place was clean, fun and chill.

The staff was great, so welcoming! It can get a little noisy at night with the wine drinking, but people remained respectful. A great place to be, even if your not into the party scene. It's great for meeting people! Thanks for everything Jonathan!

real nice place to stay super clean and all the staff are really nice and help you out with what ever you need the free wifi is great to!! would stay here again for sure!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They welcomed us as family and we met some really nice people. We received a map and good directions on where to go and what to see. Good hostel for young people and those who don't mind a dorm. The hostel was about a 15 minute walk from the center of the city.

Definitely my favourite hostel I've stayed at in all of Italy! It's totally cliched but these guys will become like your family. Great for solo travellers, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, fast wi-fi and a computer to use, free wine and nibbles at 9pm and the most wonderful owners/staff. It's a little bit of a walk to the centre but there are great restaurants/gelaterias/a mega supermarket all nearby. Plus walking in Florence is one of it's highlights. A great hostel; book here, you won't regret it!
