Majid was a very welcoming and accommodating host, open to chatting about anything, and eager to share his culture. Breakfast was nice each morning and the house was clean and tastefully decorated. You'll feel like a welcomed guest, not a hotel visitor. Terrace was a good perch after wandering the port all day. In a city of blue doors, the green door stands out! Highly recommended.

We had a very nice time and almost felt like \"home\". The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel had a good location (5 min. to the centre of the town, the beach...)and the bedroom we got was VERY VERY nice and clean. That´s the way to run a hostel guys! : )

Loved our time in Dar Asklou. Majid was so friendly and helpful, he even picked us up from the bus at 1am! Nice breakfast, clean facilities. We ended up staying an extra 4 nights, as it felt like a home away from home, and relaxing to be off the main streets of the madina, we enjoyed soaking up the sun on the roof terrace. Will be back! 1 NZ female, 1 German female

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Our host was easy-going, provided lots of advice on what to see and do around Essaouira, and cooked a delicious meal on our last night!

i spent two days in this wonderful bed&breakfast. the place is located in a small street in the medina, but anyhow it's easy to find. rooms are very authentic and nice decorated, everything is clean and blankets and towels are fresh. the breakfast was very good and varied from day to day. moreover the staff is very open, friendly and willing to help you. definitely recommendable!
