In a really good location and Mohammad is really (overly) helpful. Had some issues checking in - we didn't really know what was happening and we're just told to sit in reception for hours. Other than that, very clean, very good location and great value for money

Loved, loved, loved this place! Very easy to find if you know where you're going, a bit hard if you don't, as none of the taxi drivers had heard of it. The atmosphere is perfect, beautifully maintained, the rooms are spotless -- recommend getting the private bathroom (we didnt, but its much nicer than shared). Delicious breakfast prepared in morning, very sweet young men working on staff, and a quiet, safe location. Plus just beautiful!!!

The nicest hostel we've been! Sick view on the terrace, super laid back in the garden and cozy clean rooms. All in a perfect location, easy to find. The staff there was really friendly too. Highly recommended!

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! It was beautiful inside with blue walls and blue doors. Our bed was on this nice raised platform and the inside of the building was nice and cool. We stayed in the cheapest room which was 1/2 the price of the others because it did not have an attached bathroom. However, there is one downstairs that you can use. (This bathroom could be cleaner though...) There were great spaces on the roof and in the foyer to sit and talk to the other visitors.

The hostel is very well located in the medina, which is perfect if you want to explore the old part of the town. It's got a lovely communal area, a covered terrace upstairs and an even higher terrace with beautiful views looking across the whole town. The rooms were great, beds were comfy and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast included every morning, which included coffee, eggs, bread, jam and honey. We were very impressed and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hostel. Very adorable, well run by a nice young man. Great location, provides a nice breakfast for you. Beautiful terrace. Only downside was there was no bathroom on our floor- but can't do much about that! Highly recommend staying here.

The backpackers hostel is really nice and charming. The staff is very friendly and helpfull: two guys are really professional!   The bathrooms are lovely but a little cold because it is open to many windows! The rooms in the spring is a bit cold ... cover up!

I would definitely recommend Dar Dadicilef! It is such a beautiful place and has many lovely relaxing spots to hang out. The breakfast was the best we had in Morocco and the facilities were nice and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and they really made our stay here so much better with their smiles and their willingness to help and accommodate us in whatever way they could. We met some very nice people here and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

The hostel was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed at. Blue interior walls, a lovely rooftop terrace and a tranquil garden. We were given an amazing breakfast which the guy brought up to us on the roof terrace. Staff were helpful and really nice. The main downfall to the hostel was the lack of music; it depends what you're looking for but as a group of students some background music could have enhanced our experience. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing retreat.

We had a really good stay at Dar Dadicilef. The staff were really helpful and this made our time in Chefcheoun really enjoyable. We were able to have mint tea throughout the day and the breakfast was the best we had in Morocco! Would definately recommend!

We had few days in chefchaouen but after we stayed in dar dadicilef we decided to extend our holiday. Atmosphere, all the rooms, their traditional decoration and staff was excellent. Youssef is a very nice person we enjoyed our chats with him so much. Also Abdulila and Mohammed is very friendly and warm people. We never see people work like they do. Every single minute, they do cleaning, painting, washing up ect.:) if we had a chance to go there again, never think twice to go Dar Dadicilef.

This hostel has lots of character (it's very blue!) and is excellently located in the medina (close to both the main square and Bab El-Ain). Breakfast is decent and included - bread, honey, omelette, coffee and juice; showers are good, and beds are pretty comfy. It was quite cold when we stayed in February, but lots of blankets are provided to keep you cosy at night. Also, be aware that the twin room with the shared bathroom is a fair walk from that bathroom (on the next level). A good stay!
