The manager was very friendly and helpful. He was willing to be flexible with breakfast times and happy to answer any queries. The guesthouse is situated right in the heart of the medina. It would be difficult to find on your own at first, so it's easier to be shown the way when you first arrive. However, it's actually very straightforward once you know the route. I would definitely recommend this guest house and would stay there again if I ever returned to Fez.

This is an ideal place to stay if you want to visit the Medina in Marrakech. The Riad is beautiful, well located, delicious breakfast, and Hassan and the staff are always there to give you good advice on what to do.

Riad Dar Drissi is a jewel in the heart of Fes medina, perfectly restored and with all the comfort you need. The friendly hospitality and the help of Mr Kibir, make you feel at home straight away. Comfy room, with immaculate white and fresh smelling bedding is priceless when travelling. You will find plug adapter in your room and a hair dryer in the reception. Don't miss the fresh and healthy breakfast, served in the astonishing patio. Is great value for money and I truly recommend it.

I would stay here again (clean, simple great value). The place is owned by a foreigner who was not in the country when we visited. A very nice and very reliable local man (Kabir) manages the place. No staff slept in the building during our visit: which was good for freedom, but not great for a feeling of security. We were allowed to use the kitchen anytime we wanted. The cook and the manager arrived in the morning to make breakfast for us and to clean our rooms.

The place is an excellent riad, peaceful silent, tough certainly central in the old Medina of Fez. The forniture, the internal garden, the marble fountain, all make you feel like a sultan. It is clean and very welcoming also for families and children. Finally, the staff is definetly helpful and kind. We would recommend it to everybody!

Amazing place! I think that this 'hostel' is more of a luxurious house rather than a hostel. The place is amazing, spotless and very central. Kibir is extremely friendly and helpful. He speaks fluent English, Arabic and French. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in luxurious conditions for hostel-like rates. It is less suitable for those who want to meet large groups of backpackers to party with.

The place is beautiful and the manager was fantastic - really helped us out. If you're after a grea, quote, clean and lovely place that isn't exorbitantly priced like many other Riads then this is somewhere you should definitely stay! Really happy we spent our las couple of nights in Morocco there.
