This Dar is gorgeous and the facilities are spectacular. The Turkish shower alone is worth a visit. Our room was spotless and obviously well cared for. Unfortunately we arrived after dark and despite having made prior arrangements to call their assistant Mohammed to meet us or to meet him at a shop, his phone was off and we had to hire a porter who got lost in the medina, which was a little scary and an unexpected expense. I would strongly advise arriving during the daytime.

We are very sorry for this, it seems Mohammed had an issue with his phone at the time and was actively looking for the arrival of the guests which means they missed each other. This is why you really need to make sure we know all details of your arrival including time, this way we can make sure you are met and safely led to the house.

Great place to stay. Amazing terrase. Great location. If you ask for a guide insist on getting an official guide. I had one day only in the city and the unofficial guide they recommended me was a total waste of money.

The official guides that we vet, trust and use were all unavailable so no other choice was available than to book a unknown official guide. The customer is wrong in saying the guide was unofficial - they were not. What may have happened is that he got an official guide that was not very good - just because they are official DOES NOT mean they are going to be good! Our regular ones are great but if they are not available there is nothing else we can do. For this reason from now on if our trusted regulars are not around we will have to refrain from helping book any other so as not to sully the name of Dar El Ma with an unknown guide like has happened here. Needles to say the one the customer used will not be asked again!

We had three wonderful days in Dar El Ma. We were the only guests and enjoyed having the whole house for ourselves. Houda did a wonderful job and we definitely recommend the stay in Dar El Ma.

This beautiful house is not just an accommodation ... it's a home away from home! After my long journey I was pleasantly surprised to find a place with such an amazing atmosphere. Traditional Moroccan house yet clean and comfy, with wi fi and all other facilities. Good location, friendly hosts, cosy rooms and the magical rooftop terrace... just one of those places which you never forget!
