Dar Fes Medina was a fantastic hotel and I would definitely return. The welcome was warm and the owner and staff were extremely helpful. One recommendation to travellers is to get a metered taxi (red petite taxi) if coming from the train or bus station straight to Bab Ziat (the nearest gate) as this is the easiest way to find the hotel. Additionally the map on hostelworld is incorrect.

We arrived at the Dar Fes Medina on 27 December. We had booked ahead and asked to be picked up from the airport. The drive from the airport was a short one (about 20 minutes) and unlike with other Dars and Riads, the car dropped us right outside. Mohammed greeted us and made us feel at home. The Dar is well located, clean and spacious. The room was great (ground floor) and the staff are really cheerful and helpful. They were quite accommodating and prepared a full breakfast for us at 6am!
