The building was beautiful! I felt like my room belonged in a museum. I also had a bathroom all to myself because no one else was staying on my floor. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. And the place couldn't have been cleaner.

The hostel wasn't very busy when we were there but that was probably just the time of year/season. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom which was beautiful and very clean. The included breakfast was lovely every morning and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel was good and we felt very safe inside.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were very willing to spend time with you and explain where things in the city are. The rooms are spotless and beautifully presented. I was in Tangier working and didn't feel as though I had to worry about leaving (photography) equipment in my room and not being with it because the property itself is secure, as was the room. I would definitely recommend Dar Jameel and stay there again next time I visit Tangier.

The rooms are HUGE and so nicely decorated! I couldn't believe the value for money. There is great breakfast and a wonderful terrace. The staff were incredibly helpful, making recommendations on a map and organising taxis and tours. They even negotiate the taxi price so travellers don't get ripped off (massively helpful in Tangier). The place was very clean - will definitely stay again.

I am quite impressed with the interior of the Hostel...not only the lobby, but the rooms!!! ...to look at the Hostel from the outside you would think, what have I done? ...well, what you have done is choose a Hostel that is in a good location, with a great rooftop view, and a filling hot breakfast!! ...I definitely will visit here again especially with the informative staff. Thank You!

The staff are amazing people and help us get around. It was a little hard to find in the area but once we were there it was absolutely amazing. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had at any hostel and I can't wait to go back and visit them again. The staff does everything to help you and the area is really cool. I really recommend staying at Dar Jameel

Dar Jameel was a wonderful oasis right in the heart of fascinating Tangier. I especially liked the roof terrace that allowed for a view of the whole medina and the harbor. Being off season, I felt like I had the place pretty much all to myself.

The hotel was fantastic. Though the beds were a little hard and our room did not have a window, our room on the first floor was cozy. Also the robe and the candy is a nice touch. And oh my, the tea was fantastic. Breakfast too. It is also in a great location was a good view from the roof. And the staff is so nice. All in all, this is a great establishment and if I ever return to Tangier, I will definitely stay here again.
