Without doubt one of the best places Iv ever stayed. The staff were amazing and looked after us better than any hotel Iv ever stayed in, they even organized car hire and a few beers for us which is a welcome relief in such a crazy city! Its not your average hostel experience and well worth the visit. The breakfast us unbeatable, and the toilets and showers are clean with plenty of hot water!! Thank you so much.

It might be an experience in itself to get there, but once you are then, it is a great welcome. The guys were great, showed us how to make Moroccan tea! The room was great, breakfast was fantastic. Weather wasn't so great, but lucky they have a cool sunroom on the roof that is great for lounging. Beautifully decorated!

Our stay at Dar Jameel was AMAZING. The staff was more than welcoming, and they went out of their way to help us to see what we wanted to see, and to get to know us some. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were really clean and comfortable. The location was not far at all from the main market area, and from most of the main sites. We would all defintely stay at Dar Jameel again. The staff made us feel right at home, and it is because of them that we had such a wonderful stay here.

Nice place, the rooms were amazing (beautiful and clean). The location was good as well. They have Wifi which is great, but perhaps they could add 1 or 2 computers for their guest as well.

Dar Jameel it\'s the perfect place to spend some days in Tangier. It\'s perfectly located (2 min walking from Petit Socco) and in a quite area despite being in the heart of the Medina. But this wouldn\'t be perfect without Dar Jameel great staff! Leyton, Idriss, Mustafa, and the rest of the persons (wich I don\'t know the name), treated me very well and I felt like home since first minute. The breakfast is great and the terrace is perfect spot to chill out a bit. Hope to return some day to Dar Jameel!

Potentially the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. Gorgeous room in terrific riad. Ridiculously good breakfast eaten on the terrace with views out to sea. Leyton also kindly took the time to provide detailed, accurate and helpful instructions on eating and sights to see in Tangier. Our recommendations are for a coffee/snack in the cool Cine Rif on the Grand Socco and dinner at Hamadi for traditional food & music. Tangier was a surprising delight - two nights if you can manage.

I really liked staying in Dar Jameel, I had planned to stay one night but when I got there I knew I had to stay longer and ended up stay 4 nights. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was amazing. The staff are really friendly and helpful and a bonus is they will do your laundry for you which is a blessing when you are travelling. I highly recommend staying here, great views with relaxed spacious surroundings overlooking the Medina.

This guesthouse is amazing. There is nothing wrong with the location, peronsel or breakfast accomodations. Everything a savvy traveler could want, need or desire is taken care of here. They treat you like royalty. The breakfast is amazing ... best meal. They offer taxis, tours, maps, free tea, wine, and beer. Best guesthouse we have ever stayed at. 10 stars. cheers

Dar Jameel is a fantastic Riad with great service, breakfast and amenities. This was our second time traveling in Morocco and having been to Fez and Marrakesh before, this was by far the easiest place to find. A tip: If coming from Tarifa on ferry go out the port and look up to see a huge sign for the Hotel Continental, cross the lot and climb the steps and just behind the hotel is Dar Jameel. We found it in 5 minutes! I highly recommend this Riad for anyone traveling to Tangiers.

The owner, Layton, was the most hospitable person I have ever met in years of traveling. His knowledge, manners, and willingness to help guests with any problem set the standard by which I will measure the places I stay in the future. In a sometimes difficult country, a place like Dar Jameel is a must-stay.

Just like everyone else that has written about this place I can't say enough good things. I would gladly stay here again over any luxury hotel. The staff and view made this the most amazing place I have booked on hostelworld by far. Don't miss out on this place. The only thing that could have been improved was the lack of hot water for a shower in the morning but it's Morocco so it was all part of the experience.
