Wonderful experience! The family was very friendly, the breakfast huuuuge and delicious, the riad in general was comfortable, very beautifully decorated and well located to reach every part of the medina. I only wish I'd had more time there!!

Great location, very close from the heart of the Fes's Medina. Good value for the money and one of the best hostels that we stayed in Morocco, but they could improve the breakfast (we had bread (1 for 2 people), omelette, tea or coffee, jam, cream cheese, honey, orange juice and olives), because for the money that we payed they should offer more things to eat considering the very cheap price of the food in Morocco. Very good hot shower and wifi connection. The owner was very helpful and kind!!!

This is the perfect place and Najib and his wife are perfect hosts. Dar Kenza is located in a very clean and safe part of the Medina, the rooms are beautiful, the value for money is great, and the roof terrace a lovely spot to hang out after exploring Fez. Thank you so much again Najib for picking is up in the middle of the night when we got lost upon arrival, for the great stay, and for the long discussions about Morocco, Europe, politics and life! Hope to see you again! Melvyn & Martijn

Amazing stay!! Centrally located, perfectly clean and safe!! Our hosts were amazing and they helped us map out a little route through the old medina so we could avoid all the hassles of getting lost. They were super helpful in food suggestions and tips of things to do. Loved the location right near the batha fountain, not far from the blue gate and they made it even better. Beautiful home and great roof terrace too! A must stay, I recommend for anyone and everyone

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Najib and his wife really contributed to our trip to Fes with their hospitality, personal touch, beautiful Moroccan style accommodation and great breakfast. If we'd get back to Fes one day, we'll definitely choose Dar Kenza again!

Rashida and Naj are a wonderful, hospitable couple who have beautifully restored an old riad in Fes into a welcoming and amazing home for travellers. They genuinely care about all of their guests and looked after us like their own family. The facilities are excellent, the wifi was the fastest we had in all of our 3 week stay in Morocco, the location was perfect and we can't thank Naj or Rashida enough for everything they did for us!

The place is close to Batha so it is easy to orientate yourself to the medina and back to the hostel. Were were a group of 4 girls. The hosts were very friendly, they helped us a lot and we always felt safe. They provided us with good and warm breakfast and we were allowed to use the kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you very much!

Everything was perfect!

Great location, very warm welcome, friendly and helpful hosts, really quiet to get a good night's sleep, amazing breakfast with olives, Moroccon sweets and eggs, amazingly clean and well maintained. Absolute recommendation!

Quite simply one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. A beautiful small hotel with traditional decor and roof terrace in a perfect location. The breakfast is again very traditionally Moroccan with fresh food and generous portions. Best of all however are the owners who were kind and welcoming at all times. It felt more like we were house guests than simply customers with the owners going out of their way to make us feel at home and help us especially when one of our party fell ill.

Very nice family... I expressed interest in getting couscous at a restaurant (seems that Fridays are the "big" day for couscous in Morocco). When the neighbourhood restaurant did not offer the dish, our host and hostess whipped up a big batch for me and my friend to eat! Very beautiful dar in a pleasant location.
