Everything was perfect!

Great location, very warm welcome, friendly and helpful hosts, really quiet to get a good night's sleep, amazing breakfast with olives, Moroccon sweets and eggs, amazingly clean and well maintained. Absolute recommendation!

Quite simply one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. A beautiful small hotel with traditional decor and roof terrace in a perfect location. The breakfast is again very traditionally Moroccan with fresh food and generous portions. Best of all however are the owners who were kind and welcoming at all times. It felt more like we were house guests than simply customers with the owners going out of their way to make us feel at home and help us especially when one of our party fell ill.

Very nice family... I expressed interest in getting couscous at a restaurant (seems that Fridays are the "big" day for couscous in Morocco). When the neighbourhood restaurant did not offer the dish, our host and hostess whipped up a big batch for me and my friend to eat! Very beautiful dar in a pleasant location.

Gorgeous riad, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Great breakfast. A shame we only stayed there one night!

Thank you to Rashida and her Husband for looking after us while in Fes, this Riad is excellent with large, clean rooms and a great breakfast! The Riad has been fully renovated in Moroccan style so if you'd like to live like a local Dar Kenza is a must and Rashida will treat you like family making your stay comfortable. They went out of there way to help us find our way around and can give you maps and local advice on the area. If returning to Morocco, I'd choose Fes and Dar Kenza again easily!

It was a very beautiful Dar (Riad), andaluz style. The owner was very kind. He gave us a map and pointed up the most important places to go! He also helped us finding a guide to take us to Chefchaouen and our final destiny, Tangier. His wife made us a great breakfast, including the day that we departed at 5am. It was a very good experience.

Fantastic view over the medina and mountains beyond, with excellent breakfast daily and a welcoming host couple that make your stay comfortable. Some improvements: - We arrived by car and were not told that the hostel would be very difficult to find on foot, let alone with a car! - We had a bad experience with a car 'guardian' where we had to pay. We weren't warned about this In short, Narj (the owner) needs to think about how best to welcome hire car guests in future.

The experience at this beautiful Riad was the most warm and welcoming we've encountered throughout our travels. Najib and his wife were incredibly interesting, helpful and kind, and made us feel right at home immediately. The location was perfect, close to all the action of the Medina, but in a peaceful safe street if you needed to retreat for some quiet time. Breakfast was also beautiful and served in immaculate surroundings. I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough and would love to go back.

Such a welcoming and friendly family run riad. We felt very safe, comfortable and we had great food recommendations from the family. Good breakfast too and were able to keep our bags / use facilities past check out time until our train. Location very easy to find (challenging in Fez) and near the Blue Gate. Would definately stay here again.

Dar Kenza is absolutely beautiful. We were made to feel very welcome and given a beautifully decorated clean room. The air conditioning is very effective and we had a pleasant sleep. In the morning we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast which was by far the most luxurious I have ever had in a raid or hostel. Great value for money. I would highly recommend this small family run riad. Not the place to go if you are looking to meet people or party though.

I can't say enough nice things about this place, the owner and his wife made our stay in Fes really wondering. The guesthouse is GORGEOUS, the terrace is amazing, and the location is good. The owner helped us plan some activities such as going to the hammam, and even brought me some medicine when I came down with a cold. They are wonderful people and I highly recommend this riad.

This Riad in Fez is absolutely stunning! Najib and his wife, the couple that run the hotel, are lovely people who will make you feel at home in Fez. When we arrived we were greeted to tea on a terrace that overlooks the whole city and were given extensive recommendations on places to go/eat. We also had to leave very early and Najib made sure that was still had breakfast and helped us find a taxi to the bus station. I cannot recommend Dar Kenza highly enough!

Be very careful in Fez. All they are about is ripping of the tourist and they are not nice people. The owner of Dar Kenza arranged a guide for me. His name is Abdul and he is missing an arm . Do not go with this man as he will rip you off. Guides take you to shops and then they try and push you into buying so then the guide gets commission. Kez, in my opinion was the worst place in morocco that i had been to.

A peaceful heaven in the crowded medina. Situated close to restaurant area. The rooms are quite luxurious and there are only few of them around the beautiful courtyard. The owners are really helpfull and one positively feels being their guests.

Great place to stay. Beautifull rooms, nearby the center/old medina, good guide and helpfull owners. Everything you need for a rest while visiting the crowded medina. Very quiet rooms and a nice breakfast in the morning makes your visit to Fez very comfortable. Englisch speaking owner knows what he is talking about; he knows the place and people and can arrange you everything. Superb.
