Great place to stay. Beautifull rooms, nearby the center/old medina, good guide and helpfull owners. Everything you need for a rest while visiting the crowded medina. Very quiet rooms and a nice breakfast in the morning makes your visit to Fez very comfortable. Englisch speaking owner knows what he is talking about; he knows the place and people and can arrange you everything. Superb.

Dar Kenza is the best hostel I've ever stayed in :) the room and the entire hostel - just amazing, cozy, colorful. Our host were incredibly kind and helpful, I don't have enough words to thank them for the amazing stay we had in Fes. The breakfast was more than just delicious, plus the location of the hostel is really convenient. Hope to come back to Fes and Dar Kenza soon :)

The staff is so incredibly friendly. You really feel very welcomed and it's like having a home in Morocco. The breakfast was so good, served at the rooftop terrace of the riad including fruits, Moroccan pancakes, bread, cheese, jam, coffee, orange juice etc. Enjoy your stay there!

This place is great!!! I know it is a little difficult to find but I think it is like that when you are in Morocco. The place is safe, just right next to the medina, clean, comfortable, and the best is the service. The manager his wife and his brother are just the best. they were so helpful, welcoming and just wonderful. We got there late night after along trip and they share their food with us, how great is that?. Then the breakfast was delicious and fresh. Awesome!! Thank you!!

Room, bedroom and everything else was very clean, nicely decorated and definitely worth the money (we had a deluxe double bedroom). The breakfast was the best we had in Marokko yet, and we could decide the time. We were allowed to use the kitchen, and the guy working there told us all the time to feel like home. Thank you for making the stay in Fès so nice! We can recommend your Dar to everyone who wants so stay in Fès.

Fantastic Riad! Exceptionally welcoming and helpful. It's located on the outskirts of the medina which is perfect as you can escape the hassle and bustle but are still walking distance to all the main sights. Was also safe at night with security in the street and cameras, not to mention always people about in the area. It is not somewhere you stay to meet other guests, but a perfect place to stay. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing. Best place I stayed in Morocco.

This Dar is very well situated (5 minutes away from Bab Bou Jouloud). The room we have been allocated (1st floor) was very nice and spacious. The breakfast served in the morning was as amazing as the view! faultless!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dar Kenza. The family made us feel extremely welcome, the accommodation was of a very high standard beaing in mind the price was very reasonable compared to many similar establishments. The breakfast was superb and served by the owners brother who made every effort to serve us some kind of speciality. The house has been very beautifully restored, reflecting amazing craftsmanship over the ages in the area which added to its attraction.

Was everything we needed for our stay in Fez. Clean, safe, good breakfast, good wifi, hot water and larger room. Just had a slightly eerie feeling within the hotel and was quite loud at night with staff staying up talking. But for the price was a good option for our stay.

Dar Kenza is an excellent place for all who value beautiful, quiet and clean surroundings. It's located in perfect spot, close to everything you are probably going to see. The building itself is amazing and breakfast on the terrace (veeery tasty by the way) was a great experience. Once you're there make sure you will spare few minutes to talk to the guys who run the place - it's an absolute privilege. We will be definitely staying in Dar Kenza again in the future. Thank you Dar Kenza!

Our stay in Dar Kenza was very enjoyable. Very helpful, flexible and friendly staff, comfortable rooms with carved high ceilings, and a big breakfast on the panoramic roof terrace. Long story short: To Recommend!

Dar Kenza is an amazing place to stay. The owner and his wife rebuild the house in a wonderfull little palace. The rooms are furnished with splendid furniture in Maroc style and warm colours. However you are in the middle of a large city, the hostel is a place of silence. The breakfast in the morning served on the roof terras is very good. The service of Fettah, the brother of the owner, is great and made our stay in Fes to a wonderfull time.

very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The only "weakness" was the noise from the street, on early morning.

We had a nice stay at Riad Dar Kenza, Najid and his wife were always willing to answer any questions and offer advice, they are charming and pleasant. Riad Dar Kenza is well located, in a quite zone in fes-el bali, only few minutes walk from Batha Fountain. A lovely old riad, formerly a luxury hotel. The room was very clean and confortable. We would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time in the Dar Kenza and its very magnificent architecture. Their breakfast alone is wonderful, with tea or coffee and different kinds of jam and delicious bread; it can be enjoyed in the gorgeous living room or upstairs at the generous roof top with a breathtaking view over Fez. With their service comparable to that of a luxury resort, Nagib and his whole lovely family took great care of us; at all times they were eager to explain any Moroccan characteristics. Anna & Niels
