I had a fantastic long weekend in this hostel. The famous Ben and his sister Rita offer their warm hospitality in this beautiful old building. The roof terrace offers incredible views across Fez and into the mountains and the location of the hostel couldn't be better- minutes from Place R'cif. The directions will be clear when you arrive and the hostel is clearly signed from the main road (remember, right then left- going in or out of the hostel!) Thanks for a great weekend, Ben :)

This hostel was very nice and welcoming. The directions given were easy to follow. The common room was a nice place to hang out and get away from the bustle of the city. The owner was really nice and helpful. The breakfast and the tea were delicious. I really liked the rooftop terrace.

Beautiful, clean place... Guide provided by hostel was awesome just amazing.... There is no complain expect by being bullied together with other guest by young host in he's twenties called Ben. He was talking bad about other guests and especially talking bad things about women... That is probably sad part of machismo in Morocco or something.... Everything else was awesome... Maybe when the host grow up a bit and try to have more respect for hes guests this will be best hostel in town!!!!

No other choice in Fez. Free breakfast, fast wifi, nice people, great location. I mean it`s the best for budget travelers. Ben at the reception is a really nice guy tells you what to see and where to go in Morocco. I would love to come back to the hostel someday in the future. Kent from Japan

Best hostel I've ever booked! Such a relaxed and welcoming environment and so well-located. Breakfast was amazing and the dorms were large and clean. Such a great deal for the price, and more than that, Ben went out of his way to show me around both the medina and new town fes! He's a great guy and its a great place to stay. Do yourself the favor of booking this hostel!

Not hard to find from Bab rcif . The breakfast is superb, and they offer a good dinner which can save the hassle of looking for a restaurant in the busy medina. The room and bathroom was traditional and spacious, very comfortable. The staff are knowledgable and very helpful ( go there) !!!!!

We booked a twin room which was not provided - a lounge was converted into a bed on our request. Advice from staff was difficult to obtain. When asking for good restaurants to eat at the staff member only repeated a restaurant we had found ourselves for lunch. No other suggestions were made or in walking distance. A map was provided on arrival - however had clearly been photocopied an excessive number of times. Our hostel was marked to be in a large white space covering 3 square kilometers.

It was the best hostel I've ever stayed at! I had a huge and beautiful room with my friend, for a nice price. Ben, the owner was so cool and welcoming, that we felt really comfortable after a short time. The building of the hostel is worth a visit itself, just have a look by yourself!

This Hostel is perfect for travels to Fez. The location is perfect, close to the attractions of the Medina. The staff is absolute fantastic, friendly and easygoing, and you can meet a lot of travellers. In the morning there's a huge free breakfast, and the view from the terrace is one of the best ever seen. If i think about Fez, i remember this hostel, the great people that i met here, and all the special moments. I recomand it to everybody, it's the perfect place. Thank you Ben and Zahara

2 stops with bus from center for 3 Dh (local curency). The tour guide for the medina of Fez which was recommnded by the hostel was excellent (50dh per person). The owner was a bit indifferent but still we had a good communication. Have in mind what your reservation says about breakfast because he tries to charge it for 20 dh per person. Nice terrace. Good value for money. Not the best but still a good and cheap place to stay in Fez.

The staff at the hostel were great, Ben especially. The location is fantastic, right at the mouth of the medina without being overwhelming.

The room for two person in the ground floor is not recommended (It is the only room in that floor for two people and other rooms are on the upper floors) Otherwise, there is not enough privacy for you. You can hear all the sound from the lobby even very early in the morning. Its door and window (which looks inside) conduct all the voice to room. Hostel's design is really nice and I totally recommend it. Staff, especially; "Ben" is very helpful. Consider that it's closing around 11pm by night.

Worst experience at a hostel for a long time! don't believe other reviews on here claiming the staff are nice its a pack of lies. the two girl staff were perhaps the most arrogant unfriendly persons i had the misfortune to meet along with the guy who was equally obnoxious. They actually lock the door of the dorm from the outside so you can't get out when you want in the mornings.. What hostel does this? i actually missed my bus to chefchhoun because of this.
