Very charming place. The courtyard and the roof terrace are great places to sit down and read for hours with mint tea in hand. The flipside of this place is that you must have reasonably good sense of direction to find it in the midst of the Medina.

Gilles made us feel very welcome in his home, our room was lovely and breakfast was just right. We picked this riad solely on previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. The location is right in the Souks, do take Gilles up on his offer of coming to meet you when you first arrive as it is tricky to find first time. This was our first visit to Marrakesh and it was made even more special by the wonderful accommodation.

An excellent riad, Gilles is a true gentleman willing to help with lots of advice and always willing to go out of his way to help you. Time goes slow in this riad and you feel part of a family. Breakfast was excellent on the lovely 2-tier terrace, Lovely hot showers 24 hrs a day and very clean overall. You will truly enjoy this riad.

What an amazing retreat in the heart of the medina. Our stay here was fantastic and Gilles' advise helped make our stay a memorable one. I will certainly be recommending this place to anyone visiting Marrakech.

We booked this Riad after reading the brilliant reviews posted here. We were not disappointed in any way. The owner Gilles emailed me straight after receiving our booking and meet us near the main square to show us directly to Dar Maada. Marrakech can be confusing with the souks and tiny roads but Dar Maada is pretty straight forward to get to once you have been shown the way. The room was beautiful and the roof terrace is great where breakfast is served every morning. A lovely place to stay!

Great little Riad, just a bit too far from the main square, however does still give good access to the souks and spice market. Gilles was a great guy and made our short stay better.
