By far the greatest stay we had on our two week vacation in Spain, Morocco and Portugal! Leyton was great and recommended us on what to do in our short stay in Tanger. He drove us into Tanger and showed us things a long the way. We are still in love with the Beautiful house and the ladies of the house Milly and Rosa! Breakfast was sooo great. It was just an overall great experience.

We both had an amazing time at Dar Menara! Booked only for the first night but stayed an extra two and were made to feel more than welcome! Ervin & Leyton offered us lots of advice on Tangier which really helped us get around the medina and find what we were looking for. The house is amazing, could not get enough of the garden and roof terrace! Will be back again most definitely! Many thanks to Ervin, Leyton, Millie and Rosa!

I can really recommend Dar Menara, especially for people who can get a little overwhelmed by Tangier and it's many desperate shop owners and "guides". If you site down and have a talk with Leyton the owner of Dar Menara you can get a much better insight in what Tangier really has to offer, much better than the insight lonely planet gives you that's for sure. It is located small 7 km outside of Tangier but it is only a 25-50 Dirhams and 15 minute fare depending on the taxi and the time.

We stayed to nights in the beginning of August at Dar Menara. We really enjoyed every minute. The owners are really nice and hospitable. They invited us to eat with them during the Ramadan were we had the most delicious meal! In the morning they served the best breakfast in their beautiful garden. The room was nice and clean. Thanks again for everything!

I wish there was a rate higher than Excellent! The owners went beyond what anyone else did on our 16 day trip! Two-locked gates made us feel like we were in a safe haven. Breakfast was great! We booked for one day but decided to stay three more and the owners had no problem with it. Great conversations sitting in the "garden". You MUST stay here!!!!!

I had a really great stay at this private house! The location and view on the sea is stunning and so is the friendliness of the landlords! The pickup from the train station went very smooth and also transport to the city and airport was great and for a very good price. Both hosts were very helpful and even showed me some great places in the city with recommendations of restaurants. The included breakfast was great, rich and delicious! Tangier and this accommodation is worth the money!
