The staff is very helpful and can help with finding things cheaply. We lived at the Riad in december, and the rooms turned out not to be too well-insulated (the house was probably rather constructed to handle the summer heat), but the staff gladly provided blankets, towels and mint tea at request for free. The food is good and traditional music is played during the meal. There is a cheap hammam with gommage (given by the owner), but make sure that he is sober if you would dare try it.
We were very happy staying at Dar Salama. The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was central yet quiet, and the interiors and terraces were amazingly atmospheric. Really good value for money!
