We stayed at Dar Sienna for a couple of nights and was awesome. Ahmed was a brilliant guide and he gived us some good tips about everything. Our room was very nice and clean and the terrace was fantastic. The riad is very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the cold water on the shower but we really recommend this Dar to everyone

I was blown away by Dar Sienna!! The staff is wonderful, the decor is beautiful, and it really feels like a home away from home. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fes!!!

Thank you very much for the wonderful stay:-) There is only one regret, it was much too short. Sitting on your rooftop with this wonderful 360 degree view of Fez Medina, beeing treated like friends, sipping a glass of mint tea and contemplating the surroundings...it's really difficult to find words for it:-) Simply amazing! Please do yourself a favour and call Ahmet, the welcoming manager, in advance before trying to find the location by yourself:-) This is very tricky... location by yourself:-)

We went on a three week tour of Morocco and have stayed at many riads. This one stands out as the best. The manager, Ahmed, is amazing. He made sure to pick us up to help us navigate the confusing medina streets. He gave us tips to remember which way to go and gave us a map of the area. He is extremely thorough, warm, and helpful. The riad is decorated beautifully, the staff is wonderful, and the breakfast is delicious. We loved the view from the terrace. A+ definitely recommend Dar Sienna!

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the medina. The Dar itself is quirky and nicely decorated and Ahmed the house manager was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that our room was not cleaned. This wouldn't normally worry us too much, but when toilet paper goes in the bin you really want it emptied everyday. I'm sure this would have been fixed, but there was no one around to tell.

The staff was so nice and helpful! It is located in the middle of the medina, which made it a bit difficult to find on your own, however the staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful. There picked us up at the bus station to make sure we got there safe! Would definitely go back!

A wonderful hostel in the heart of the medina. The people working there are more than great! Helpful, loving, nice and awesome hosts. We really enjoyed our stay at the Dar Sienna and recommend it to anyone who likes to have a few nice days in Fez. Not only the location but also the hostel itself. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The highlight is the roof terrace where you have a striking view over the city.

For value for money, this is a good option. For comfort and facilities it is sadly lacking. We had rain for the first couple of days and the sitting room was soaked (leaky roof). The third floor toilet and shower were so small our children opted to use ours. The third floor also smelt mouldy throughout our stay. Basic facilities like hooks for towels in bathrooms weren't there. Very shabby chic decor but good location. Staff at Dar were very helpful but owner did not return phonecall.
