It was a great experience to stay at Dar Warda ! It is located inside the Medina, close to the souks in a quiet, small side street. Nice room, good breakfast, reasonable price. Thanks a lot Chakib for the hospitality. We recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 fantastic nights. We would recommend being picked up at the airport, as the hostel can be difficult to find if you don't know what you're looking for. The room we stayed in was lovely and the roof terrace was a really nice bonus. Breakfast and mint tea were perfect to start each day, and the Chakib was really helpful answering any questions we had. Dar warda is a hidden gem that you will fall in love with!!

This hostel is hidden away and thus very difficult to find, but once inside you feel really welcome. The rooms are perfectly equipped and the breakfast is excellent. The manager is really nice and helpful. I would recommend this hostel.

It was the best choice we could make. The place is beautiful, small compared with other riads, but very charming. It is in a great location, inside the old Medina and next to one of the main streets, however it is very quiet. The staff is in my opinion, the best that this riad has. Chakib, the guy in charge of the place, was so nice and always helpful, using all his patience and kindness with us. We felt like at home and totally recommend it. Shukran!

Me and my girlfriend had a good stay in this hostel, we even came back at the end of our trip to sleep here another night. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the hostel is in the middle of the medina at an excellent location. The hosts helped us buying local products which we took home (home produced olive oil + saffran + tajine) for good price. While the products in the medina mosttimes have not a superb quality. Also good advice for diner and helpful with everything. Would recommend to any1

This hostel is amazing. The rooms are intricately tiled and the owner is very nice and helpful. Whatever the percentage comes out, this is an excellent choice. It is hard to find, but everything in the medina is hard to find. The owner came and found us near the blue gate and led us to the hostel. Then we had mint tea. Great hostel!

Bugs, dirty sheets, dirty floor, air conditioning not working (we were even accused of having lost the remote we were never given!!), etc... The people we met shared our opinion on their rooms. We even told the guy about the beetles and he replied "what did you expect? this is Marrakech" !!!

Two negative aspects were that the air conditioner in our room did not work (since we were there in July it was impossible to sleep) and that there were cockroaches in the hostel, both in the lobby/reception and in our room (!).

Another excellent place to stay in Morocco, this time in Fes. Very good location, very well maintained and very kind staff.

The hostel is in the best part of the Medina. It is hard to find it but once you are there you can enjoy it. :)
