Darling View Point Bungalows Reviews

Great place! Had an awesome bonfire going every night where everyone came to hang out and play music (guitar, ukulele, banjo and an amazing saxophone player were all part of the mix the weekend I was there). Just out of the way enough to be peaceful but a quick 5 minute walk to downtown Pai. Really wonderful owners and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The place was set up on a hill and provided a great view of the countryside. The room was basic, but clean and large. We were out and about most of the time, but it was an easy place to catch sleep.

I had an awesome stay there. Very chilled out with every night a bonfire.And you will meet lots a other travellers there!! I'll go back!!

One of the best places I've stayed at! Clean rooms, beautiful view and the staff make visitors feel like family. It's also only a short walk into town (5 minutes), but just out of the way enough that it's peaceful at night.

Highly recommended! The bamboo bridge people have been speaking about in earlier reviews is fixed, so it's only 5 minutes walk into town down a dirtroad, which works fine. The view from the balcony is stunning, especially when you're seeing in while lying in one of the hammocks. Beds are amazing, you get a double matress all to yourself, so I've been sleeping like a baby (and like a starfish). Staff's very fiendly and helpful!

the lady that owns darling view point is the sweetest women in the world, she loves to help and has big projects for backpackers she is working really hard with her staff to make it a friendly place that everyone can enjoy, I am glad I stayed at this hostel and I would go back anytime if I could! Before I booked, I considered staying elsewhere and only going here for a drink. I'm so glad I decided to stay! This hostel is a HOME! The owners care for it, and there's much more of a feel of permanency and care than some of the other flimsy bamboo hut places. Fun yet quiet, great company and enough privacy/shared experience as you choose.

Great place to stay. The location is not right in town but you can drive to town in 5min or take a shortcut and walk there in 5min. The location is on a hill overlooking town and the valley for sunset, can be really nice. The bungalows are the best ones you'll find. There are cheap dodgy ones around but these are much nicer, like a real room not bamboo weave. Staff are really friendly and help the local communities too.

Darling View is ideally placed on the outskirts of Pai. The bungalows were spacious, with hammocks with amazing views of the valley. We had a great stay and Darling and Peter were always very helpful, in sorting trips out for us. We will always be Darling's children!!
