These hillside bungalows (good price, clean, & hot showers) overlooking the river are just a short walk from the bus station. All the restaurants and shops are accessible, but since this is across the river (walk across a bamboo bridge), it also has a nice secluded feel where you can enjoy the landscape of Pai on your porch hammock or from a teak deck in the main lodge. Peter and Darling are wonderful people, always willing to help and just chat even though they are busy running their businessThese hillside bungalows (good price, clean, & hot showers) overlooking the river are just a short walk from the bus station. This is a Thai guest house, teak and bamboo, with wide shady varandas, perched on a hillside over looking the town; it is not an hotel or in the center of the action, but the view is great and the people who run the place(Darling and Peter) are even better.I have extended my stay for three more days. This is a Thai guest house, teak and bamboo, with wide shady varandas, perched on a hillside over looking the town; it is not an hotel or in the center of the action, but the view is great and the people who run the place(Darling and Peter) are even better.I have extended my stay for three more days....Close

What a beautifull place! I don't think you can find nicer in Pai in that range of price. Not many people to hang around with, but it was the end of low season when I stayed there. And the place is a little bit "far" from the lively area... but a 15 minutes walk won't kill you. I recommand it to any couple in a honeymoon with a tight budget! What a beautifull place! A picturesque and serenic paradise with a lovely owner. Just beware that the oft washed out bridge means a slightly longer walk - but free rides are always at hand.A picturesque and serenic paradise with a lovely owner.
