Drab and dreary hostel with no energy or atmosphere. I only stayed for one night between flights and couldn't wait to leave.

Clean, orderly but very quiet - not a lot of people around and not much buzz. Nevertheless I had a lovely time.

Positive: conditioned air and fridge in the room, free pool. Negative: no lockers in the room, no free wi-fi. Rooms and common areas are clean

Booked a family room with a few friends for the long weekend. Was a nice big room, clean bathroom & comfy mattresses. The hostel was nice and quiet and the staff were helpful. Only downfall was the aircon didn't work too well, there is a fan though.

Very expensive hostel for what you get. Although Darwin as a whole is very expensive. Rooms are very clean and come with en suite. Kitchen was fairly small but wasn't an issue. Would have been nice to have more places to eat dinner as there were only two picnic tables. Good location, nice and quiet but close enough to the night life. Staff weren't always the friendliest and often seemed pretty miserable.

Very clean and comfortable hostel. 6 bed dorms are like 3 bunk beds in one hotel room with a toilet/shower. Wish there was hand soap in the toilets, kind of gross that they don't offer that basic amenity. It's nice that they have a mini fridge in the rooms. Beds are comfortable, although the pillows feel like a sack of cotton balls. I feel like the guy at the front desk genuinely hates his life- although he is semi-helpful and semi-nice just not very pleasent.

WWe were there for two nights only. Slept in mixed dorms for 6 people. Rooms were quite clean, except for the toilets which were a little bit dirty. Nice pool and place to hang around it. It lies on the main street where most of the pubs are, but is still a few minutes of walking away so it is peaceful.

Great staff, good bar next to the hostel (kind of a gambling pub) & the wifi worked very well. En suit dorms are very welcome! Would stay again.

6 male dorm. one guy stayed there probably for months - against the house rules - and made a mess of the dorm. Also did he make a lot of noise at 2, 3 or 4 am, putting the lights on, eating from the fridge, meatballs, pasta, books, clothes everywhere on the floor. When I told one members of the staff about the situation, he did not take me seriously. Well it was not my problem anymore - i was checking out - but a problem for the other males in the dorm, and for yha Darwin. Compliments for Eddy!
