It was mistake in booking system. Hostel world did booking but in reality hostel was overbooked. Owners of hostel did apologize. But it was to late. I was on my way … Before booking I asked owners if they have free places, they told me ok and refer to Hostel world site for further procedure. I lost around 20$ on booking and nobody reimburse me it. Not big money but… I can’t tell about experience of staying in that hostel because I wasn’t there. Booking was failed. Money still I don’t know where

Very good. Enrico, Steve and the girl who I forgot her name (sorry) are very nice to me. It's located in a quiet atmosphere.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the place was really dirty. And the location was good. It was only five minutes walk to subway station.

I stayed with a friend in a private room with a balcony, the room itself was great but the kitchen and the shower (the shower was in the kitchen) and those spaces were shared with another private room, were so dirty. Somebody had obviously been partying and left their beer and dirty dishes in the kitchen and the hose in the shower was not stuck to the wall to when you had to shower you had to hold it in one hand while you were cleaning yourself with the other one, taking a shower was a hassle.

After reading rewiews from other guests I was a little bit afraid of going there. Yes, it could be cleaner (especially the bathroom, room was ok). But where else can you get a single room for about 10€? The single room was in a 2 room apartment 2 doors away from the main hostel and it was very quiet and it felt like living in your own own apartment. I can't say anything about the main hostel, but my room was definitly good value for money.

We stayed in 2bed private, which was pretty large including a kitchen and a huge living/bedroom. I just wasn#T as clean as it should have been, but great value for the money. Free parking close to the hostel possible.

Sooo,if you are open minded and looking for cheap place to stay few days in Berlin it's perfect place. There is not so dirty, as I thought after read comments about it(isn't shine inside, but you need it only to spend few nights somewhere). There is no refrigerator and plate, but it isn't problem too. There is super market near hostel, and we replaced plate by microwave(we cooked egges and noodles, it was very fun))))Thank you David's Hostel.

It was so dirty that we went to buy our own sheets and pillow covers and rubber gloves to clean the washroom. the place most definitely has not been swept nor vacuumed for that matter. There was left garbage (packaging, hair ties). The room we had was separate from the rest of the hostle therefore very private which was nice. big rooms with own bathroom and kitchen. odd smell at entrance and toilet. my brother (male dorm) found someone else sleeping in his bed one night slept our couch

The place has a lot of potential and the staff was really nice to us. We stayed in a private room which was very big and nicely furnished. The cleanliness was a disapointment, our room, the shared bathroom and the common area was very dirty from dust and normal use. We stayed 5 nights and apparently there was no cleaning during this time, or before the room was given to us. We also did not see tools readly available in case we wanted to clean it ourselves.

I don't use to let comment on hostelworld about past experiences but future customers must be warned. This place is really dirty. I never saw that before in my traveller life. The main room has never been swiped. Showers neither. Toilets were ok. The level of dirtiness was not acceptable.

Steeve made me paid as soon as I arrived and then he told me that the hostel was overbooked and I won't have a normal bed. I slept on the floor, and in a 9 beds "mixte" dorm (I booked for a 7 female dorm). He said that if I was not happy I could go somewhere else...

Good location, quiet street but very close to the subway. We got the separate apartment we were quite independent. A really big room with all facilities you need to live there for some days. There's a big market (EDEKA) not far away, open 'till 10 pm. If the apartment would be cleaner I would say it's perfect.

This hostel is more like staying in a share house - cozy, but dirty. Really nice atmosphere but a bit out of the way. Close to a metro station so that's good.

This hostel is for free-minded guests. Otherwise you might see the dust and might find other cons. But for me the hostel was more than ok - very cozy, especially the main common room, very warm, close to the metro station and the young guy - the receptionist - was very nice and helpful.
