About David Inn
David Inn is clean and cosy hostel in the heart of Florence. It is 50 metres from the Duomo, a five minute walk from the train station, and right beside Museo della Academia, the resting place of the original David of Michelangelo.
We are not among the usual hostels and hotels of the Via Nazionale right near the train station. We are just as close, but in a safer location, right in the heart of the old-town.
The hostel is a converted apartment on the third floor of a building that looks onto the Duomo. There is an elevator, and we are open at all times. You can come and go as you please.
We have small dormitories, triples, bathrooms and one kitchen with oven, cookers, refrigerator, dining table, cutlery etc.
Since it is a hostel, the atmosphere is extraordinarily friendly. Everyone is able to know each other, have breakfast, cook and go out together. It is the perfect place to meet other travelers/ backpackers or just to have a comfortable and relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
The staff members speak english, are young and helpful, and are happy to direct you to the main sights and nightlife that Florence has to offer, through a map we give at your arrival.
All bedding is provided, but make sure you bring your own towel. There's no curfew and no lock out.
