Relatively normal hostel. Good location and some great staff, but some awful staff. The don't take information about their guests which turned bad when my camera was taken, make sure your things are locked up (although the don't offer much for that)

A very average hostel however clealiness was incredibly poor. I had higher expectations for the money.

bathroom was not pleasant at the best of times, shower was tempormental and the mattresses wer about as thick as a slice of bread, lovely building but was a little disappointed, also paid for 4 private room and wer then expected to split up 3 in one room and 1 in the other? which wasnt the nicest to arrive to, but staff wer nice enough to accomodate us and we got a room for 5.

Fantastic location, friendly staff and no curfew, but they really need to get air con or at least a fan as it was too hot to sleep.

the location was great, right by the duomo and lots of cheap restaurants and bars. the staff were really nice and very helpful for recommending places to eat and drink. unfortunately, there was nothing to do in the hostel, and for some rooms you werent given a key. we luckily had some cool roommates to entertain us!

Skip it. Great location, hard to find. No AC or fans, uncomfortably hot. No privacy, no lock, staff just walks into your room. Staff also lives at hostel, so they have no problem ditching the rules they want you to follow (doing your dishes, not using the kitchen in the middle of the night, smoking in the bathrooms). We had to leave for cleaning every day, but hostel was only cleaned once while we were there (over several days). Night staff is strange, made several guests feel uncomfortable.

the david inn hostel was easy to locate it is pretty much right near the massive marble cathedral. possibly the cleanest bathrooms i have come across during my whole trip. the staff were friendly ( we even went to the cinema with the receptionist) and despite not having a common room or internet access it was enough for a bed for the night.
