I wasn't actually at the hostel that much, but the time that I was there was excellent. The staff were helpful when I was checking in and out. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and well worth what I paid for it. I didn't actually use any of the other facilities, but those that I saw seemed good.

Exceptionally good value for money. Surely a roll of toilet paper could be supplied though!

When I arrived it was raining quite heavily and reception was not manned (7 pm). Luckily a resident came along and I was able to gain entry. It was about 15 minutes before someone came to reception. There were no towels in the room.

In general the hostel is pleasant and roomy. A lack of ,mugs, plates, bowls, and cuttlery in kitchen. On suite bathroom flooded when shower used and took an hour to clear. Quiet room

This place is fine as a base for exploring London but do not come here if you expect 'luxury', although I should say that it doesn't hold itself out as such. The closest DLR is Westferry - don't think otherwise - and i found the directions from the booking confirmation e-mail excellent. You will not be provided with a towel and there is no toilet roll so bear this in mind. Unfortunately when i stayed there was no hot water from the tap in my room and the shower (shared) did not work.

The exact DLR stop needs to be highlighted, Popular is nearest, E India Road is very long. (The East India stop is too far away). Presently there are no internet facilities , for those who do not have a laptop, etc..

Not very clean and staff could be more friendly. Security is great but the atmosphere is kind of awkward. Would not stay again.

Staff could have been a little more helpful. there was no loo paper and was told by one staff this is standard. however, the receptionist said why didnt you tell me and i would have given you a roll. was not told about the kitchen being on the same floor etc.

The location is good, and the bus pass in front of the hostel. The kitchen is very dirty, in order to the stove was so oily, and there wasn't any dishes. They haven't cleaned our bedrom while we were there. The internet isn't wifi, so you need take with you a cable to use internet.

We really enjoyed our stay over New Year´s 2011/2012. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to all of you. We were at flat 4 (Eastbury) in rooms with private bathrooms each. Linen was provided. The only negative thing was the kitchen on that floor. Pretty dirty oven and working place... bad smell. But the responsibility for the kitchen is with the people who life there permanently. All over review: We will come again!!!!!! Very nice.

Great hostel, very out of the way. About a 45 min bus ride into London. The 15 bus stop is right outside the door and it takes you to the Tower of London, St Paul's and Regent St. Super secure, had a fridge in the room. There's no breakfast or soap in the bathroom. The management were kind and helpful. The docklands area is really cool, nice walk along the river. If you're exploring the east end of London this is a great place to stay, but if you want something more central, this isn't.

Nice private room with Internet connection! Although the DLR is not running, the bus stop in front of it makes it convenient.

When I first walked into the room, there was a chlorine smell, but it disappeared after awhile. The room is a dorm room with a fridge, sink, tv, and etc. There is also a common room with a kitchen, microwave and kettle. There are two bathrooms. Overall, the place was great and quiet.
