Good hostel, a little farther away than what we could have gotten - but a 10 min walk and we were in the main square so not too bad. Our double room was cats meow and it had a bit of a draft and the hot water stopped working at one point, but the room was clean and had a heater so it was ok. The breakfast was basic - two types of cereal and milk - but they also give you a pre-made sandwich roll which came in handy as a morning snack or cheap lunch.

Staff were personable and helpful. The place has real character and carries out the theme of 1930s glamour with panache. For people who enjoy walking, the stroll from the hostel to Krakow's Centrum is quite reasonable. I would stay here again for the hostel's ambience and cleanliness even though it's located a bit outside the city centre.

Good hostel. the quadruple is spacious but a little dark. the bathroom is excellent. there is no elevator and go up to the fourth floor after a hard day may not be the best. The hostel can be reached by walking for about twenty minutes from the station. However, there are also bus and tram to get there.

Very nice, clean & tastly decorated hostel with home atmosphere. Only thing I didn't like was lack of room keys for everybody. In other hostels each group of people or each visitor gets his own keys, here I had to share it with the other group from the room. The result was that I had to look for people keeping the key because the room was locked while I was in the living room or in the bathroom. I find this unreasonable obstacle. This affected security - coulnd't lock the room at night.

The staff were very helpful and spoke great English. It is a long walking distance to main sites and the Market Square. The location not the best but all else was just fine. Shirley Portland Oregon

if you are a single traveller looking to meet people then i would not recommend staying at this place. The hostel is full of middle age polish people who are not there to socialise. however if you are looking to get away from the social backpackers than definitely worth a visit.

Appart from the school groups and families with young kids running around this experience was great. However, the said kids did tend to become annoying after a while.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for a week and could not say a bad word about the place :) We had friends staying in other hostels/appartments throughout the city which were half as good yet 2or3 times the price! I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Krakow. The hostel is a 10-15min walk into the main squae but it is a simple route in and there are plenty shops/bars/etc. along the way.

The most exclusive hostel I've been staying at. Beautiful rooms to such a low cost. My visit in Krakow wouldn't have been the same without my stay at Deco.
