The girl at the front door took my girlfriend and my ID to hold. Then the next day I tried to get it back and she said, she gave it back after she took a copy. I went all over town the next morning to places I'd been trying to find it. I called the hostel and they said they sent a housekeeper into my room to find it. They said it wasn't there. After I exahausted my efforts to find my id. I went to the police station and filled out a police report. I live in Texas.

We DO NOT hold IDs or Passports. We actually ask for them to make a copy so we know who is staying at the hostel, and them give it back to the guest. The person who check you both in was a guy not a girl. We call you back to tell you that we found the IDs in the room, so is actually not our fault that you guys left the IDs in the room.

Shower hopeless and no hot water. Key to room did not work, which resulted in waking up just past 3am with a guy fishing through my handbag which was next to me whilst I was sleeping. Managed to chase him out and the staff said, oh yeah I know that guy he is one of the other rooms, probably just drunk. Yeah cause I know a lot of guys who do that. Reach over a girl and pull her hand bag accross and start russling through it. Would never stay here again

Beds were comfortable, flat screen in room. Bathrooms do need little update but they\'re ok. Staying in the 8-bed-mixed room was great experience, even though we had couple of people coming to our room middle of the night without anyone in the room knowing them. It was kind of scary but luckily the staff took care of it pretty fast.

If you are looking for a hostel at the center of the SoBe action, look no further. Hostel has a private bar, with rock-bottom pricing, something that is a real plus, when it comes to sky-high bar prices in the neighborhood. Be aware, adult beverage selection is very limited. Rooms come with lockers. Rooms also come with flatscreen TV's, something that I have not seen at other hostels. Only negative was that I was never able to access WiFi.

The hostel is in a great location right on the beach. It is clean, the rooms are large with comfortable beds and it felt much cleanier than Miami International Hostel but maybe less character. Overall a good hostel with a small communal and bar area. Good if you are not looking to go mental but have a decent time and still get some sleep.

Completely hated it. Staff was totally unfriendly, elevator was very slow when not broken. Wi-fi doesn't work, when I asked the staff about it, he laughter and said the problem was with my computer. They dont allow you to bring alcohol in, if you want to drink you have to buy they're own. Ridiculous. Waste of money, will never come back.

I had the best trip of my life visiting South Beach for the first time and staying at Deco Walk. You can't beat the location, the center of South Beach ( a block from Clevelander, and two blocks from Wet Willie's. Walking distance to most of the best clubs are within walking distance too. Also right across the street from the beach and Lummus Park.) I met some of the best friends staying here and had some of the best times of my life!! Staff was helpful & friendly. See you next year Deco Walk!!

When i was in Miami last year heard good feedbacks about Deco Walk Hostel but couldn´t a room at that time cause it was full but this year i had the chance to stay there for 3 days and see by myself if what i heard was true! Indeed Deco Walk was a good hostel to stay, great location and happy stuff. Didn´t spend too much time in the hostel though but it was a good experience to stay there!

The bathrooms are never really up to par. They need to be remodled. The toilet flush pressure is really low, so I had to go downstairs to the public restroom because someone in the room had stopped up that one. When I arrive to the public one, it was a MESS. USED Feminine products out in plain view in the trash can which was overflowing.

To be staying on Ocean Drive during Miami Music Week, and not having to pay 300-400 per night at a hotel, was a great plus. When you are looking for a prime location, and really just a bed to sleep in, DecoWalk was outstanding. In addition, the staff and lobby bar were great (Yuendling on tap!). The other travelers were great to meet (I seem to always get along with the Aussies). The rooftop was awesome (except the bar wasn't ever open up there and the hot tub wasn't working).

The breakfast was not very pleasant. I would rather not have that little muffin that is served and the milk was warm when I wanted to eat my cereal.

Absolutely LOVED Deco Walk! It's located in a great and convenient place, a 2 minute walk from the beach and a second away from all the bars and restaurants.

The only thing that is great about this hostel is its location and staff member Victor. All other staff are terrible and unhelpful. They do not care about the guests at all and do nothing to help if any assistance is required. Only Victor is helpful, cheerful, and always willing to help. Even the cleaning lady is rude and only cares about making sure everything is clean...if you are sitting on a couch she'll ask you to move...she doesn't understand guests should be first. Also lost a pair shorts

The hostel's location was so great and the rooftop had a beautiful view. Though we were right in the middle of busy ocean drive, we werent able to hear all the noise from the street and had a good nights sleep. The facilities were cleanly though I wish there was basic hand soap in the bathroom. The bar in the lobby was nice and the man that works the night shift there was very friendly and helpful. Overall a really pleasant stay. Thank you!
