If you want to be right on the beach & at the heart of the party; this is your spot. Clean linen & towels free. Baths a little run down but usually clean. Deco is funky. Rooms have small lockers available. Breakfast is included but is only just enough for a girl (small fluffy cereal, glass of OJ, cup of coffee, 2 slices of toast and a hint of muffin). Free wifi. Victor (staff) is very helpful & funny; he'll hook you up with a nightclub deal.

Had a really good time, the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Like that each room have their own bathroom. Staff was very helpful and nice. The best location for people who like to go to the beach and have fun.

Internet needs to work better. Needs more character - put some pictures up on the wall or something. Make sure staff wants to be there and is actually willing to help, some staff members were great while others just seemed in a bad mood all the time!

One of the attendants was very bad, I do not remember her name, but it was a black girl. This was hardly the hosoedes and did not like to give information. Many of the guests I met said they would recommend the Deco Walk, because this service performed by it. The breakfast repeated every day is also a downside, should have variety.

Night Staff was really rude, and they dont have a hair dryer which their website says they do! This was super inconvenient. other than that you get what you pay for. the breakfast is plane white bread.

The 42 Dollar is definitely for the location right on the ocean drive. The rest is just average.

Great hostel to stay in while visiting South Beach. Had a problem with the showers and hot water but otherwise perfect experience!

great location, have been here more than once. Unfortunately, this time the staff was not nice at all (usually they are great). but the girl that was on duty when i was there was unwilling, unhelpful and very clearly wanted to be left alone. Not acceptable when manning the reception of a hostel. And it;'s especially sad because "normally" the people are so great there

Bathrooms and hallways smelled like vinegar which sucked... And wifi did not work in my room or in my phone at all. No help from staff on this matter. Other than that it was nice- met some cool people.

DecoWalk is the first hostel I've stayed in and it was much better than expected! Location is the best, the rooms are fairly clean, the staff for the most part was friendly and with the money you save by staying at the hostel you can better afford the food & drinks on Ocean Drive. My only disappointment: rooftop deck. Only a couple chairs & a view :) Thank you for the best, most memorable vacation yet! PS> Mixed dorm is the way to go!!

Ok so it's not spotless and the staff could be a little more smiley...but NONE OF THAT MATTERS.....YOU ARE in MIAMI!! Get out there, party your a.ss off and make the most of the brilliant location. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The beds are comfy. The ensuites are convenient, they also provide hairdryers too. Even though you are right smack bang located on Ocean Drive the noise inside the hostel is zero, you get a teeny bit from outside but nothing major...get out and PARTY!!!!

Staff needs to smile a bit more and be a little more friendly. Bathrooms and tubs are a bit dirty and could use some attention...But overall a comfortable place to stay and a nice location across from the beach.

The room was clean and perfect for the night. We received clean linen and towels along with not so great beach towels. Overall this was a great experience.

Before arriving here I read a few reviews of this hostel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are adequate, exactly what I expected for 30 dollars in such a phenomenal location. The communal area is great and the nights out arranged by the hostel were good too - without staying here we may not have been able to get into some of the clubs as easily. The location is great, the roof terrace is also a nice spot. I'd recommend this hostel and will come back here again!

Housekeeping ladies were sweet & helpful. Front desk clerks were great, except night time girl. Kinda rude & acted as if you were bothering her if you asked a question. Also on cell alot arguing with someone & also arguing with some other staff member. Not professional at all!

Location is what makes this place great. I have stayed in hostels in Latin America so gave this a shot in Miami. Staff was rather unfriendly, rude, and unwilling to do anything past checking you in and out. I did not have any problems but heard complaints from others staying there. The photos and website make the hostel look more pristine than it is. I felt like the website was false advertising. Trip ended with their valet guy "misplacing" my car for what was the longest hour of my life.

The location is great other than that everthing is not so great. Staff takes advantage of the low rate and do what ever they want, i understand i am paying $30 but that doesnt mean you should be rude to people.
