Deejai Backpackers is a lively guesthouse with a vibrant social scene located in a quiet part of Chiang Mai's old city, only 15 min walk from Thapae Gate and the main tourist bars. Our garden with its �Jungle Chicken� bar and its bamboo huts is the perfect place to unwind by day and meet new people at night.
Our accommodation ranges from 3 person bunk bed dorms, through to private air-con rooms with cable TV and a fridge.
The communal lounge is equipped with a large flat screen TV and a DVD player. Just behind the reception there�s a pool table, 2 computers and a canteen. We also have free WiFi.
Our friendly Thai and English speaking staff are more than happy to assist you with any information and or travel arrangements you may need.
For your safety, we have CCTV that covers all areas, as well as safety deposit lockers..

Booked an air con room as stated on the internet - turned up to find it was fan only (not to mention dirty and noisy). Expensive too. When I explained to reception it was pretty much 'mai pen rai'. The other dorm we booked was better, but the bathroom was still dirty with a big pool of stagnant water on the floor, and used paper towels in the sink. Its in the old town but a long walk (tuk tuk it) from the bars, markets and sights.
