Not impressed at all. In our room the tap didn't work so difficult to do basic things such as brushing teeth and washing hands. Bin wasn't emptied at all. Not provided with any toilet roll. Staff where rude and abrupt. Only two plug sockets in a four bed dorm, no extension cable provided. Wouldn't stay again

Cheap, good athmosphere

Worst Thailand experience! Dirty! Left earlier after paying for 4 nights and no refund! Beds uncomfortable!

Everything was fine. The only complaint was I had emailed them a week prior twice to enquire about organising a taxi and I had no reply.

This place is amazing! The older English guy who I think runs the hostel is a legend, so polite and extremely helpful. Really good social atmosphere it's just out of the city though but tuk tuks are cheap anyway. My only downer is that when they cleaned our room they never restocked the toilet paper which was crucial when my friend fell sick with food poisoning.

AMAZING PARTY HOSTEL! Fantastic atmosphere, lively 24/7, rooms in OK condition, only found one cockroach, but that's ok we didn't sleep much if you know what I mean 😉 Overall fantastic hostel. However, the only down side, was the gentleman at the front desk, by the name Eric. (Man with the long beard) wasn't very accompdating and regularly suggested untoward activities. Great hotel A+++

Great party hostel with great staff. Bathrooms cleaned daily. The pool/bar area is a 2 minute walk down the road but its really nice, and the restaurant there is great!

Friendly and helpful staff. Reception help you to book trips or days out etc with a discount from booking through the hostel. Good food around the pool at deejai gardens. Nice area on the square and not too far to walk to the centre. Rooms are cleanish and standard. Air con wasn't very good but it was quite cool at night which helped. English guy works on reception which is a god send when you have questions to ask. Would definitely stay again.

Good hostel, great staff. Use of the pool is nice and is a good way to meet fellow travellers, as is the large indoor/outdoor common area in the foyer. I'd definitely stay here again.

No security, and while it's a fun place to stay, there are much better places to stay in Chiang Mai.

This is not a bad hostel if you are on a budget, however the security was lacking and the facilities were sub par.

Cheap and nice location. Rooms are not clean, very humid and no room for things and backpack. Bed is not comfortable.

The best part about this place was the pool across the road even tho there was only 3 beds and everyone else had to lay on the floor with lots of ants and flies. Everyone seemed different to anywhere else we had been and didn't seem to want to mix with each other....maybe it was just us 😔. Overrated in my eyes

Really enjoyed my stay, i was just starting out on my travel trip so was a great place to meet people. Slightly younger crowd probably 18-23 but there were a few in their late twenties which i was glad of! Great breakfast, laundry service, common area and pool - easy walk to town. i stayed in the dorm and private room, which was a nice break if you can afford! So nice to have my own double bed as well as the social side of the common area. Staff gave me a lift to airport. Great place to stay.

Dorm rooms: two bunk beds, one electrical socket for the room, beds not very comfortable and lockers in the storage room (not enough for everyone). Rooms/bathrooms are properly cleaned once a day and how clean they remain depends on your roomates. Although there are no parties or music, this is a party hostel and don't expect to rest much - people stay out drinking and making noise around the hostel until really late. The pool area is really nice. Staff good to organise tours and trips.

It was a decent hostel. Loved it for the location. Also has a great restaurant and pool! The garden area is great to hang out in. Would stay again.

Only three sunbeds for the whole swimming pool area. Opening times of pool changed each day. Morning staff at the pool unfriendly and unhelpful. Some days you could order brekafast at 10am other times you would have to wait until 12:00.

This is the best hostel in Chiang Mai for a solo traveller. They have there own swimming pool and bar where you can meet the people staying in Deejai. Location is perfect - 15-20 min walk to all major pubs and night life places. And only 5-6 km from the airport. It is very cheap and someone told me that they haven't increased their rates in past 2 years. Their service/facilities is very good. You get beer whole night. Sometimes it will be noisy in nights because people having beer and talking!

Owner is very friendly and genuinely wants all his visitors to have the best time. The facilities are amazing, especially the garden, and you become part of such a close community during your stay. Would recommend to anyone!

This is a big hostel and not a place to go if you're looking for a good night sleep or a quiet time; it's very social and quite loud at night, even past the "10pm quiet time" which is not enforced. Great if you're looking to party and meet people. Some of the staff are great, others not so great. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms could be cleaner...they smelled of sewage. Bathroom sink pipes leaky, shower pipes plugged and flooded the bathroom. Pool and restaurant were great!
