This is a big hostel and not a place to go if you're looking for a good night sleep or a quiet time; it's very social and quite loud at night, even past the "10pm quiet time" which is not enforced. Great if you're looking to party and meet people. Some of the staff are great, others not so great. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms could be cleaner...they smelled of sewage. Bathroom sink pipes leaky, shower pipes plugged and flooded the bathroom. Pool and restaurant were great!
Great hostel, great location. Good place to meet new people. Pool and bar down the road where really good. Only two downfalls, the uncomfy beds and the owner. Rude is an understatement.
My pillowcase had dried blood stains. excuse was sometimes they get to busy to change the sheets. Horrible stains on the wall and the ensuite was full of mould and two buckets were placed to catch leaks. No noise after 10pm but people were drinking and shouting until 3am every night. The one communal toilet was horrible. Tried to get info about town but staff were unhelpful. The only good thing was they have an off site bar and pool which was amazing! And moped rentals was good. (5 nights stay)
Cheap, no safe in my room not sure if the others rooms had it. The basic room has a fan so it's worth paying the extra money for a/c. But it's good for meeting people and also the pool is like 3 mins walk from if hostel but it's free .
The location was cool, rented scooters here. From my memory the mattress was not the best, but good place to meet fellow travelers
Great experience for me as a first time backpacker. Incredible social attmosphere, staff are friendly and have good English. Cleanliness could be improved but the overall experience outweighed everything else. Highly recommended!

Great hostel, staff were very helpful and would organise everything for you for discounted prices. Fan room was great but the airconditioned room we stayed in had no ventilation in the bathroom so got a bit muggy, otherwise we had a great time would definitely recommend!
The biggest thanks goes to these guys particularly Rob for making me feel at home. Having had a tough week with my friend in hospital this hostel have done everything to support me. The facilities are great, very sociable, good price and deejai gardens is awesome for a proper English breaky. I couldn't recommend this place anymore. Run by genuinely lovely people and is the perfect place to meet other people and have some fun. If you're coming to Chiang Mai you have to book yourself in here!
Fantastic place to stay. The staff and the manager (called rob) couldn't be more helpful in every aspect. Recommended to everyone!
Had a private room, basic but clean which is what you want from a hostel! The atmosphere was cool, the downstairs closes at 10pm however everyone seems to sit outside and chat into the night. Avoid rooms near the entrance, I was in C1 and got treated to an impromptu ukulele/guitar concert from a Californian until around 3am - would of been great if I wasn't up at 7am for a trek. The staff are cool, the pool/garden is nice, just remember your ticket.

Rooms were average, but the shared space + the pool were great!
The man at the hostel was always very helpful, it was very clean the only problem i had was the shower flooded abit... wasnt thought out the best but at least its hot water! And the wifi was not the best but id happily come back to this hostel again and i intend on it very soon !!! Recomend to anyone !
Amazing hostel if you are a solo traveller, great common areas and pool/ garden to get to know other people. Good location. Only downside is the staff- the owner is incredibly rude and could do with learning some people skills. Shame it brings such a great hostel down.
This place is just great! You meet so many backpackers to have a good time with. Best thing is the free pool area. Super clean, great food, decent prices. Stayed way longer than planed!
Deejais is a great place to get information about adventures and meet buddies to go to the Deejai pool, go out to Zo in Yellow for a drink, or adventure off to the grand Cayton! We had a lot of good times there!
Best hostel in Thailand! Awesome staff, brilliant atmosphere and unbeatable value for money. Rob and all of the staff at the beautiful pool bar will most definitely make you feel more than welcome. I wouldnt even think about staying anywhere else in Chiang Mai!
Great places for single travellers & groups. Great place to socialise. Common area's are beautiful, green and sunny. Easy to meet other travellers. Snacks & water are available 24/7.Best ice coffee I had in Thailand was at this hostel. Rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly.
