The rooms have no windows......which was weird. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful---they rock!

Jack is a very busy man but he was always available to help us when needed :) The location is fantastic! It is not a state of the art place and if you are a lone traveller with no Mandarin I would not recommend staying here but if you are an experienced traveler with some basic mandarin and accustomed to China then this place is great value for money! :) A comfortable and clean place to rest your head inbetween visiting the amazing hisory that Xi'an has to offer! :)

Defu is not a youth hostel, doesnt have staff that speak English, the Internet was only by cable which you have to ask for and we were given a twin bed even though we booked a double bed. Location and cleanliness fine on the oher hand

Great Atmosphere! Great Staff and wonderful music during the nights! I might come back sometime, because i want to attend the Dumpling Party as i heard it's a lot of fun! Thank you!

The staff was very helpful but it was a hassle at the beginning as the venue was not very obvious from the street and they had no idea about our booking. Apparently we were not passed on by their external booking partners or something. We waited an hour for them to sort out our booking.
