We were barely there since we were busy enjoying the town, but the staff were friendly and helped us book our next adventure. Free wifi in every room, no air conditioning.
Spacious room, queen bed, windows, fan, tub (no hot water though), shower not so great, big porch, breakfast served every morning, you never know what you get, since they decide, had banana pancake, egg-stuffed toast, just toast, comes with fruit, since my room is closest to the street, it was very noisy, too noisy, also noisy from family life, Ubud is just so loud, all these motorcycles day and nite, it just never stops, but close to everything, store infront, tour booking, show tix
The shower was a joke, the room didn't have ac, but the breakfast was good though.
Lovely and helpful owner. It is in a good location in central Ubud. Would recommend it.
Very nice place, with polite and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and with new furniture. The breakfast is delicious.

Like everyone else says the owner is really nice and knows a lot about the area and tours etc. He can book you tours but does not push tours on you like some do. Breakfest coffee is great and you can get extra. Area is quiet at night. Rooms are kept in great shape and cleaned. No TV in the rooms but maybe you do not need it. One needs to find out how to adjust the hot water as some times it acts up a bit. Will return here from Lompok in a week. Would send my friends. Room security good.
We loved Denmark House! We planned on staying there for 2 nights, but then extended our stay to almost a week. It's located close to the city center between Monkey Forest and Ubud Market - you can walk everywhere. The room was simple, but clean and safe. Breakfast was good and varied. The owner and his family were really nice, we even got invited to a Balinese wedding on our last day. Would definitely go there again!
Lovely, friendly family-run place with great shower and huge bed.
The hosts were very pleasant. They were prompt in picking us up from the airport, and took us to a coffee farm on the way to the hostel, which was really cool. It's not on the main drag so it's fairly quiet, but there are a few restaurants along the street. Breakfast was a little disappointing, and our room was never cleaned. We stayed there for 3 days so it got kind of gross. All in all though, we had a decent stay.
