We had a very spacious room on the 4th floor (no elevators though), firm mattresses, bathroom was clean and breakfast was OK. Staff was really friendly, especially Viet arranged a lot of tours for us! Very very helpful and friendly staff who went to every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Fantastic location, close to the old quarter and lake area. Do not be put off by the back alley entrance as the rooms are beautifully done out and spotlessley clean. Overall excellent hotel and very good value for money. The hotel is very friendly and the staff working is very willing to help out. Also, the hotel is located next to the Hoan Kiem lake off the main road, hence you get a quiet stay within the city centre. The hotel is clean.
