We Arrived and nobody was there. We couldn't stay there and lost our money!

Really friendly couple who run the hostel. I needed up booking a 4 bed shared dorm and ended up with a private room to myself so happy with that. Bathroom and toilet are fairly basic but not out of place for Asia.

Jack and Su are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The location of the hostel is great! Everything works, it has it's own charm. Recommend it to anyone on a budget.

Did not have aircon despite stating it did, instead had a fairly rickety ceiling fan. Very, very basic room quite run down. Lots of spiders and web all over. Ok wifi. Friendly staff. You get what you pay for but this seems at the lower end of the scale! only stayed for a night en route to perhentians, so couldn't guage the location for any sights.

Very helpful owner. He woke up at 4am to pick us up from the bus station and let us in as we were lost. Much appreciated

Got a warm welcome from the friendly staff, but overall the guesthouse needs an upgrade. The bathroom and shower was especially dirty, with no toilet paper. The staff was never there, so we couldn't ask them to replace it. Think we were the only people staying here, so there wasn't really an atmosphere to speak of. The AC was good, and so was the bed. Okay for one night, which is probably all you need in Kota Bharu on your way to the Perhentians :-)

You can't expect much for this price.
