Not the best for more than 1 night, but the staff is really helpful which is a lot. Its location is great, really convenient to go anywhere. Rooms are neat but basic.The staff are friendly & helpful with lots of recommendations of things to do while you’re in Kota Bahru.. The only possitive thing about this hostel is its central location. The room itself was relatively clean, but the central area of the hostel looked very dirty. There were no blankets of towels, there was only a matress on the beds. The windows looked like they could fall out any minute and there were big gaps between the window frame and the walls. The toilet is an extremely dirty and smelly room in the central area. After we saw this room we decided to find another place to sleep.The only possitive thing about this hostel is its central location. Manager was very helpful in sorting out onward journey and even woke up at 3 in the morning to help me call a late taxi driver. For a hostel that is quite new we were surprised at the amount of dirt and cobwebs there were, it obviously hasn't been cleaned since it opened! The kitchen really was disgusting, and the toilets and showers need a good clean. If given a good clean it would be a reasonable hostel as the host is very helpful and it is in a central position.
