Cockroaches, bed bugs, lockers are available but they are outside in the street. Mouldy food under the cupboards in the kitchens where floor obviously hadn\'t been swept. Lady at reception said \"i know about the cockroach problem, i have mentioned it to the owner, but there is actually no way of getting rid of them.\" However she was understanding and gave us our money straight back when we checked out. Mmm, not the best. Location great to walk into town etc. Hostel itself pretty run down - looks like no effort has been put into it for years. Bathroom grossest Ive seen in hostel. Security (esp on male dorms) dodgy. A friend had $100 stolen while he was asleep. But sooo cheap. Just go out & only come here to sleep!Mmm, not the best. Best feature is its price. The bathroom was clean enough, except the shower curtain really ought to be replaced already. It\'s a bit of a walk to the 16th Street Mall, around 15-20 mins\' gentle amble. The public library is the same distance away, very convenient. Beds were a bit soft, but comfortable enough. Water pressure and temp were fine. It\'s an old house, and the interior reflected it. No A/C, so it was rather warm during my stay, although the room did cool down in the early hours.Best feature is its price.
