Very close to the metro station but far from the center (not walking distance) Room was cold (no heating during autumn ) and very noise room next to the reception. Staff didn't speak english very well. Bathroom smelled like deep fried oil and was noise (something to do with the pipes)

This is a pretty place, in a very quiet zone of Milano. The Hotel is very good connected with all the mains zones of the city by underground. The structure is essential and a little aged but cleaned and confortable,the personnel is friendly and always disponible.

It's 1 minute from the underground station, so you need around 15 minutes to go directly to duomo from there. The staff is nice, but their english is very medium, room was clean, but it was really cold at night, so bring a sweater or a boyfriend/girlfriend. internet works great and they have a sweat dog. Bathrooms were also ok.

Noisy , ridiculus fourniture , not clean at all also the toilet dosn t work fine . But great location.

Dergano Hostel and Hotel Brivio are the same place! We booked for Hotel Brivio and we were put in a room that said "hostel". Brivio was more expensive. We had booked a different night at Dergano but when confronting the staff about the place being the same, they pretended that they didn't understand what we were talking about. We cancelled the rest of the nights. If we hadn't felt cheated, the room would've been ok. However, it was very cold inside the room and the reception was fully heated.

It was OK. A little bit far from the heart of the city, but the metro is at the corner (and cheap!!) so we didn't have any problems. Cleanless OK. But the staff should speak more english.

There are no facilities, only the toilet. No use of kitchen or anything similar. It is very very dirty and you will have to ask for them to turn on the heating, because usually they don't, or they only do it for a short period, and its cold. It is too expensive for the location and the service. It will be worth it to pay a little more and to be closer to the center of the city because the transport is not cheap either (1,50 one way ticket).

The hostel room itself must have been the most compact sized I've ever seen. There was about half a meter space between wall and bed. The bed left a feeling that it might break any moment and it was noisy. The reviews we read about the place told about a cold shower. That was not quite true because the temperature of the water was changing between warm and cold which was really annoying. The overall cleanness was sub par. I could recommend this hostel for staying over for one night.

First thing is getting a staff that can really talk in english. Second thing is improve the hostel with a guest kitchen, better bathroom, proper location and activities on the hostel. It has a poor wi-fi, so people can't contact their family when they are out.

Pessimo. I ragazzi cinesi che lo gestiscono tengono i riscaldamenti al minimo a febbraio con 10 gradi sottozero fuori. DOCCIA FREDDA!!! Stanza gelida. Pulizia minima. Tengono un cane di grossa taglia libero alla reception. Struttura vecchia e mal tenuta. Unica cosa positiva: si trova davanti alla fermata della metro (ma è meglio non tornare dopo il tramonto). Rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente sproporzionato. Non lo consiglierei al mio peggior nemico!!

Probably the only good thing about this place is that is fairly cheap.

Nice and helpfull staff, but there was pretty cold in the room - I visited Milano in January, but still.. Also sink in the room was plugged and cleanliness in the toilet could be better Great advantage of hostel is location - in front of Dergano metro station. PS: staff has a cute dog - Soni is maybe not the best guardian, but great ambassador of the hostel:)

Rooms are terrible. Because we were there in New year eve of 2012, Temperature was so cold but there was no heater. And room was freezing cold. And staffs are also not friendly. I suggest them to change their behavior with guests. It is near to metro station that was only the advantage of staying there. But after 12 o clock you will lost if you want to go to room back from central. In this new year eve we were lost for 3 hour to search this hostel. I suggest dont go there in winter season again

Convenient location next to the subway train, fine for the transit night I had in Milano.
