Had a really nice stay with cool people and nice chats. Loved the bathrooms, the breakfast and especially the walking Tour with Bill!
Very close to bus and Giants Causeway. Great view from the sun room. Everything about the hostel is great (if you're tall the sloping ceilings mighy give you trouble), but even so its a bit overpriced even taking that into account.

A nice stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Generous breakfast.
Mariano was very kind and informative to us. The location is excellent and facilities are clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Decent place! Small but cozy. Great breakfast with eggs and homemade bread. Good location as well. Would recommend!
Excellent. I have stayed in many hostels but nine unlike Derry independent. The front guy was sweet and always helpful. Thank you for making derry awesome.
After a fair while on the road and having mostly stayed in bigger hostels it was such a relief to come somewhere that felt more homely. The staff were fantastic- Mariano even went so far as to save me some of the fresh baked bread from breakfast when I overslept (easy to do as the bed was very comfortable). Also there was nothing nicer than being able to come home to a bath after a long, stormy day out at Giant's Causeway. A great hostel to recharge and make some new friends along the way!
Staff lovely & welcoming, great breakfast and best value for money. About 5 minute walk from city centre too which is brilliant. Will definitely be back

Friendly place with nice atmosphere and a good kitchen, great breakfast and excellent staff. Thanks Mariano!
A very welcoming hostel with friendly staff and comfortable spaces to relax. One of the better stays I've had and highly recommended.
Great location and staff were very friendly and always available.
Good location not too far from center. Wifi worked nicely
Great hostel, in walking distance to city centre (though Derry is admittedly not very big). You could see that the owners care about offering good accommodation and being experienced travellers themselves. The breakfast (included in price) was really good with juice and eggs! The only drawback was that the bed (we stayed in a double room) was quite old and not very comfortable (anymore). Nevertheless I'd recommend this place!
Mariano from the staff is willing to help at anytime and makes the hostel feel like a big house. Nice breakfast also.
Nice hostel. It made me feel like home, there is a big kitchen with full facilities also is a social room. The only drawback was bathroom. It's nice, clean and tidy but not enough.
I stayed in 15 hostels around Ireland and this was my favorite. We had practically the entire basement and garden area to ourselves, and even when other people were occupying the space, there was plenty of room to relax. It's refreshing to have a backyard area, it made me feel at home. The showers and bathrooms were of excellent quality and they have fresh eggs for free in the mornings! If you are looking for a small, independent, unique stay, I would recommend this one.
Fantastic place, clean, homey, great location. Staff super friendly and helpful, substantial breakfast with fresh bread and eggs to cook. The garden was lovely on a sunny day. Had a wonderful stay, thanks!
