Stayed for a night as planned. Had a comfortable stay - all good apart from an odd episode with the back door lock.

This is the best hostel I have stayed in. It's friendly, homely and the staff are fantastic. I would definitely choose to stay here again. For a city centre location it's very quiet. Wonderful stay. Thankyou.

Awesome! The staff are amazing -- they know a lot about the (super rad) city and about traveling in general, and are happy to point you in the right direction. The hostel itself is full of cool stuff. There are lockers in the rooms, which is great, and there's a better breakfast selection than other hostels. Absolutely no complaints.

When I arrived, there was a note to go around the corner to the Dolce Vita hostel. Due to it being off season, they combined hostels. No worries. I had a 5-bed mixed dorm but instead was moved to 3-bed mixed dorm for same price. Very close to town center. Staff was great, helpful, and did small pub crawl with the few of us there. The locals are the friendliest I've met yet. They stop in their cars to let u cross the street. The Museum of Free Derry is a must, as well as their walking tour!

I had a great time in Derry. I stayed at Steve's second hostel - La Dolche Vita. Facilities were excellent and had a good night out (perhaps the start of a regular pub crawl?). I definitely recommend this hostel.

A nice, small and cozy hostel with a distinctive character. The owner introduced some cultural themes from his travels: Thai and Japanese among others. Good facility.

Whilst residing here there was always a good crack around the lounges; there is a great generous spirit about this place , indeed the best hostel I've been to since the Armagh Y.H. of yore.

It was a really nice stay there, the hostel is quite small, but that's the reason why it is so great!!!!

I thought the staff were lovely and very helpful and the place had a nice easy going sense about it. The security boxes were good, the place was well heated and the bathrooms and bedrooms very clean. The hostel has a sense of generosity about it and it is well located. I tght that the kitchen and sitting room could do with a make over, they feel slightly like the rooms of a student house, new paint/more light /new couches or cheery furniture would work all in all a good hostel.

I had a pleasant stay overall. I only have two comments, one is the lack of a proper dining/breakfast room, you have to go to the lounge and sit on a sofa and it is not very comfortable. I also had a minor incident the day I checked out. I gave them back the keys but left my backpack in the hostel to have a walk in the town.when I came back to take it there was a post-it in the door saying they would come back in 1 hour. Not very professional.

Really nice time at the hostel. Only my second hostel stay ever and i would definitely go back. The staff was very friendly and welcoming with a good sense of humor. The only drawback i would say is that it's a little hard to find initially but once you know where it is it's not bad at all. Just look for Tin Tin.
