This is a great hostel to use it to sleep. Is very clean and the rooms are really confortable. If you are looking to meet people this is not your hostel.

I had computer in the room - but without the hard drive. Also, I had the TV, but without the remote control.

I was in a six bed dorm. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good and the cleanliness was great. So, in the end, I am glad for chosing thishostel. The only problem was the space to store all my stuff: there were some hangers, about 8 or 9 in total, so to share with 6 people, and a very small locker under the bed. The result was that I had to leave almost everything in my backpack and if by accident someone had decided to take it, I couldn not have had any chance to impede it.

Great hostel with nice and friendly stuff. Location is excellent, just few minutes from London bridge station. The only thing which I didn't like was the fact that people did not clean the showers after themselves. :( The water was "slowly going out" the shower and people didn't care to wait to clean after them. :( Otherwise, everything is great, ah yes - nice and comfortable beds and excellent offer of beers in the pub. :)

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. The beds were comfortable and had curtains for privacy and lockers beneath. Each room had a computer for web browsing and the WiFi was also reliable. The bathrooms were small but well-maintained and the water was hot. The pub downstairs provided a nice hang out with a friendly, laid back atmosphere. The staff were amiable and very helpful, giving tips on things to do and providing maps and transit advice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Location is very central. Cleanliness could have used a little work but ultimately I was very satisfied. Staff was very friendly.

It's a little far from the city centre, but very close to the tube, so that wasn't a problem. My friends and I stayed here very comfortably and enjoyed every second. We would all gladly stay here again. Staff is lovely, as was our room, the unlimited supply of tea, the beds, and the free breakfast. We got great advice on things to do and it was very secure.

I love staying at the Rose and Crown. My airport ride driver commented that he has dropped off many a customer at the pub but that this was his first time picking someone up from a pub!

READ THIS! NOT A HOSTEL, a pub, with a few rooms. The 'staff' are actually the bartenders/ bouncers with 'bouncer' culture: My luggage strap got stolen in the hostel, & when I informed the 'manager', he & a bartender started interrogating me, asking (threatning) to check the CCTV (which was a 24 * 2 hrs tape, for a $20 strap :) He then said I should prove it to him, and he'll pay the $ 20 back! I've 1 more strory, no space :)

Hostel is on top of a pub, but the pub closes at 11pm, so no noise trouble. Need to take a key (20£ deposit) if you want to return after closing hours. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small but the beds (double bunks) are quite nice, with curtains. Room contained a tiny desk with a computer +internet access, and a small fridge. Otherwise no kitchen etc. Minor downpoints: Only two showers on floor. Room doors and underbed lockers very noisy, so difficult to sleep if others get up early

The staff was super friendly (especially the owner and his German Shepherd, Mishka). Supremely comfy beds with privacy curtains are a definite bonus. I had some friends staying at St. Christopher's across the street and they were all jealous of me at the Rose & Crown! Definitely, definitely recommend.

Bathrooms are a little small, but it's a nice stay and good value. The walk from the Tube station to the hostel freaked me out a bit! Thanks a bunch for a good stay.
