Great hostel. Simple and clean. The lack of kitchen and common room means there is little typical hostel atmosphere, a bit quiet and people staying are in London for work, in between rental, or serious travellers after real sleep. The trains at night could wake you at times. Decent breakfast in the pub, nice hosts - more like a city b
Costs in London tend to be high. I was glad to find this affordable lodging near a gathering I was taking part in. The room was not spacious, but the beds were good, and the under-bed locker was handy, and perhaps necessary. Free internet! Breakfast offerings were very good. The downstairs pub seemed friendly, but I didn't make use of it. Just one disconcerting incident in my stay: inexpensive toiletries and pajamas disappeared from my bed before my last night there. Error of the cleaning lady.
Great hostel, very well located, very comfy beds, included breakfast was very nice. Lacks a social atmosphere, which for me was fine, but if you're after somewhere you can meet people maybe try somewhere else.
Room was nice, but my backpack couldn't fit in the locker. The shower was taped together. They had the best free breakfast!!
It's in a great location and is clean, but if you're looking to meet people and hang out, it's not the right place for you. No socializing as far as I saw. I went down to the pub one evening looking to meet others at the hostel or locals and there was no one there besides a few older men who had no interest in talking to me.
Great location, comfy beds with a lamp and power point at the bed head. The curtain across each bed is a big help, especially when other guests in the room are up early or get in late. The breakfast is very basic, but good. Only problem I came across was the showers are very cramped, but they always had hot water so not the end of the world. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location near London Bridge. The owner was really funny and helpful. Every bed has a reading light, locker, curtain and socket and there was a computer, tv and a water boiler in the room. Altough it was quiet in the room during the night it is better to have earplugs because there are railtracks nearby and you could hear the trains during the night. Breakfast was basic but good. Best place I've stayed in London so far!
The location of this hostel cannot be beaten - it's a few minutes walk from Borough Market and the Thames. The security is great and the privacy curtains around each bed are a nice luxury. This place is great for couples or people travelling together, but without a communal space it can be difficult for solo travellers to meet others. I'd definitely stay here again.
No common room, so rather anonymous.
Very nice staff and comfortable beds! The privacy curtains we a huge plus! Only downside is there is no common areas (besides the bar downstairs during open hours), to hang out in, so if you're roommates are sleeping or your neighbors are snoring you have to tough it out and stay quite in the room. Other than that, great breakfast and would stay again.
The staff was great. This facility is above a bar and next to train tracks. There are picnic tables outside in front ot the bar and patrons would be out there talking until late into the night. That and the trains, I didn't sleep very well. They had a good breakfast selection.
Felt more like a bar with a hostel attached than a hostel with a bar. Many of the bar patrons were locals. Good location, except you get some noise at night from the train tracks half a block away. I dislike the door code system. I was afraid to come back too late because they change the door codes and if no one is at the bar/reception, you are locked out. I came back after the bar closed one night and was lucky to catch an employee still cleaning up so he could give me the new codes.
Good, clean hostel. Excellent location (near the london bridge and above a pub), friendly staff (getting earplugs at 4 o'clock was no problem) and good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. They even have a rainshower, woehoew!

Friendly people, low-key atmosphere. Appreciated the privacy curtains and reading light. Not updated but seemed clean. Would stay again.
Josh and Flavia were great and made the stay fun and friendly. Great place to stay. Thanks.
This is the best hostel in London this was my second time here and definitely not the last. if you're looking for a place to relax and not have to worry about being kept up all night this is the place, super comfortable beds great privacy with the bunk curtains all in all excellent place to stay
A quiet nice hostel with all facilities. The outside door may take you some time to open if you come late in the nigth. The pub is always empty, so don't expect much about it. I would recomend this placê for my friends.
Good idea the lockers under the beds, but it should be improved: anyone with a screwdriver can open them! But in general it is a very good place! I choose it on my arrival to the UK and choose it again for the departure!
Lovely place in a very good location (very central, only 10 min. walking to London Bridge and 20 min. to Tower Bridge), the staff was nice and breakfast (included in the price) was nicer than what you'd normally expect! The rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean but could be bigger, not that much space to leave your stuff in the room (there were some lockers under the beds but not very comfortable to use). But all in all, for a weekend trip it was a pleasant stay.
