Stayed at the Rose and Crown for a couple of nights by myself. It is in a great location, very close to a major underground with three different lines, so getting anywhere was easy. Just a short walk away was the Tate Modern. Breakfast was free and the selection of spreads for toast was crazy! The beds were in very clean rooms and had privacy curtains and functioning reading lamps. I enjoyed the flat screen in the dorm room as well! The owner Charles was super helpful with info about London too!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Located 1-2 mins walk down a side road off the main road leading to London Bridge so very central. Walk to London bridge in 5-8 mins maybe. The main road has plenty of bars and restaurants. Has numerical lock units on both the stairs door and the individual dorm doors - I prefer swipe cards. The bed had amazing mattress and great white bedding 10/10 The lockers under the beds would be better if they were the metal cage type as the wooden ones were poor design

This was a great hostel to stay at for a weekend. The atmosphere was great, very relaxing. The location was pretty good within walking distance to the London Bride tub stop. The staff could always be found for engaging conversation, useful advice, and always a cold pint. This hostel was well worth the small amount of money it cost to stay there. I would recommend this safe, friendly, and hospitable hostle to all travlers to London.

This is just the perfect place to visit London with a couple of guys, had soooo much fun. Nice and cosy familiair hostel, pub is outstanding close to the Tower Bridge. The 6 bed dorms were perfect for our team, especially for toolboxmeetings with the perfect MR speaker;) And last but not least the staff, very gentle barman MR. T, he was hilarious. You can also sing along with Mr T, he knows pretty a lot of very nice songs, he even sing along in different languas. grtz jiu-jitsu team Holland

This is a great hostel, if a little expensive. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating, offered great conversation as well as suggesting possible itineraries. It is a 5-7 min walk to London Bridge tube station. It is just down the street from the Borough Market, which is awesome. The privacy curtain / light in the bed are very nice. About the only bad thing I can think of is that the drains are slow in the showers and it would be nice if there was some sort of shelving in the showers.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Rose and Crown. The staff were lovely and vey accommodating; Taylor was especially charming. I also really liked the privacy curtain because it gave me my own space. The only things I didn't like we're that I was unable to figure out how to use the locker and the washroom. Personally, I hate when water pools around your feet in the shower. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay and I would recommend this hostel and may revisit if I am back in London.

Cosy, small and very familiar, with very nice staff. Lots of brochures, free maps and info to get the most out of your trip. Breakfast included! Loved the idea of naming the rooms after places in london and the pub downstairs.

Great hostel! The location is very centred, staff was friendly and the rooms (and toilet area including showers with warm water) were very clean. Especially loved the little curtains in the hostel beds, gave some privacy when needed. Breakfast was also good, and we liked the owner's dog :) Would definitely come back here when back in London, probably will too! Thanks again for a lovely stay :) Cheers, girls from Finland :)

I had a great time at Destinations having visited over the summer and deciding to return for another week. Staff, location (only a short walk to the river, Tate Modern, Tower Bridge and the Shard, and easy to cross over or wonder along the river to Southbank, St Pauls, Covent Gardens/West End Area), rooms and facilities are brilliant. Breakfast is great and varied, looking forward to visiting again x

Nice hostel, quite expensive but have comfortable rooms and good location. Ideal for people who wants a peaceful stay. Don't go there looking for meeting people. The staff is really nice and it is a safe place. I could stay there again.

The staff were awesome! Very friendly and helpful! Free breakfast every morning was a great added bonus! Rooms and bathrooms are small but if you're only there for a weekend like I was it was fine! Would definitely stay there again if in London for another weekend trip!

Rooms were fine, beds small. The room downstairs was not really cosy, so I didn't want to hang out too much in the hostel. Especially because wlan never really worked. (only on my phone, and it was difficult to get it to work). I find the price 17 pounds way too high for the offer. The breakfast was great.

Hostel was quiet and bartenders downstairs were very nice and helpful. Asked them for directions and they were glad to help me.

nice hostel combined with a typical Britisch pub. very nice dorms: not the typical lousy bunk beds made of steel, but really comfortable ones made of wood.

The hostel is very nice, clean and new. It is pretty small so it is quiet and kind of cozy, and on the ground floor there is a real pub. Rooms are pretty and well-furnished. The only weird point was that in the morning the door for breakfast was shut and no one was around, so I coul not profit of the breakfast. Anyway I would definitely go back there and recommend the place to those who are looking for a cheap, quiet and well-located place to stay.
