Good if you are looking for a quiet chill spot to relax for a bit. Lovely pool and nice bungalow. Best for couples or families. Need to get a taxi to bars, restaurants in ban tai or thongsala. Fine stay.
Lovely property. Always someone out trimming trees and sweeping the path. Fresh sheets and room cleaning daily. Awesome ac. Pool was gorgeous and clean, not a leaf in it. The sand on the beach was quite coarse though and there were small biting ants near to some lounge chairs, though obviously not the hotel's fault. I was not keen on the stray dogs always by the hammocks but they didn't bother you. Easy to full moon party - 100bht each way and taxis troll up and down the street constantly.
I loved Dewshore! Right on the beach, a lovely swimming pool, walking distance to local restaurants, and also a quick 20-baht songteaw ride away to other good bars and restaurants (you MUST try Fisherman's, Outlaws Saloon, and the Mexican place near Outlaws (I can't remember the name anymore). It's 100 baht to the Full Moon Party, but that's basically an island-wide price for that night. Dewshore was fabulous for a relaxing beach-side vacation and I will def stay there if I go back to KP.
