The hotel is very basic, good enough if you are just sleeping there. Noisy at night, but then you are staying in a city so probably to be expected. The stairs are very steep, not a problem for us but could be if you have large suitcases or have weak legs.

Staff was disinterested to sarcastic. When I complained I didn't have a towel, staff asked ME why. Room was barely able to fit the bed, smallest room on the planet. A medieval monk would refuse to spend the night. A large coffee maker was used to prop open the window. The room rate was doubled the website rate, price gouging anyone unfortunate enough not to already have a reservation. Don't stay here unless it's the last room in Amsterdam.

Bathroom stunk all the time, wifi was inconsistent and didn't work in room. Had to climb large amounts of steep and narrow stairs

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient location walking distance to everywhere central. The rooms are a little old but they are in great condition, very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Didn't love the super steep steps coming into the hotel tho, difficult to enter with a lot of luggage I imagine.
