This hostel is no longer operating as I found out when I turned up on 24/1/13,absolutely no warning from the hostel in spite of the fact that I emailed them prior to arrival as per the instructions on the hostels page,I was left with nowhere to stay and had to start searching for alternative accomodation at 21.00hrs,hostelworld should remove this hostel from it's pages as it has closed down.

Diagonal Home offers incredible value for money in a good area of what can be an expensive city. It is only 10 mins walk to the nearest metro station (Hospital Clinic or Diagonal). The woman running the place is very friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. If you are expecting high standards of cleanliness you should look elsewhere. It is not clean, and only one shower works but if you are out spending the money you saved enjoying the City, this doesn't matter so much.

The room was clean and so was the rest of the hostel. There is big living room with free internet access and fully equipped kitchen The stuff was nice and helpful.
