Diamond Diggers has more of a homely feeling than hostel feeling and the host has both a good knowledge of current affairs and the history of South Africa in general which made for an interesting stay. Lovely view of the city from this hostel as well as beautiful sunsets. Pool and sauna was also a plus

Hostel in peaceful suburb and I felt safe here. Staff really made me feel at home and hostel has homely atmosphere. Johannesburg is an interesting place and 2 days was just not enough time to see all the attractions.
