Room was hot, no Internet, beds are on the floor (no frame) so economical but close to shopping.

Modest but practical, tidy. One of the beds was a bit squeaky and I would have liked a small fridge in the room had I stayed for longer.

Bathrooms have been renovated and seemed clean enough. The rooms are tidy and the linen clean. Each room has a sink and a cupboard. Good for the price.

i found dicey's excellent value for money, cleanest cheap place i've stayed in, good facilities and friendly staff. only problem was misleading advertising by hostelworld. no booking fee means you your payment is a deposit specially when it comes to over $50, turns out not to be the case. everything you pay is a booking fee calculated as a percentage based on the cost of what you book. then hostelworld had the rate at $50US when it was actually $40AU so their percentage is inflated
