According the season (December) I think was very quiet, but the location, facilities and the housekeeper was very nice and friendly.

Lovely staff and very clean. More like a bnb than a hostel, so it was quiet but great all the same.

An absolute delight! I felt as if I was in a friends home. Nice and close to the railway station.

Nice location. Sneak was available in the room. Difficult to get to check-in even within defined time (had to call and wait for 20 min - so if someone doesn't have phone with rather cheap roaming that might be a problem)

No microwave or any way to cook or heat food up. Otherwise, facilities were very nice, staff was helpful & location was good.

Good location by train station Santa Lucia and the rest of Venice in easy walking distance. The staff was rarely around, even during the hours when reception was supposed to be open and the main woman didn't speak much English, but they can be quite accommodating if you contact them in advance. Essentially it's a small, quiet hostel with no facilities to speak of. Pricey as all of Venice is, but perfectly acceptable for a few nights.

A tiny little hostel (felt more like a B&B) situated in a great location by the train station. Rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean, and there is coffee and a little pastry for each person (like a five star hotel!). The women who runs the place doesn't speak any English, but is wonderfully Italian, using hand gestures to explain where everything is. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice hostel. There were 3 individual beds in the room (no bunk ends). You can tell that the owner took the time to decorate the place and it feels more like a home rather than a hostel. The place was cleaned everyday and small snacks were provided. There are no common areas though, so make friends with the people in your room. Also be sure to call the owner to let her know when you will be arriving, she isn't always there (since she doesn't live there).

This felt more like staying at a family friends house, it was an apartment really so you are either in your room or out in the city. The people who ran it were only there during the day, but they were very friendly and kept the place very clean. I liked it, it was small enough that you got to know your roommates and it never felt crowded (never had to wait for the washroom and I was there for three days). Very hard to find though, make sure you look at a map before you go.
