Good price. Lots of walking from rental office (on a canal) to actual room (not on a canal). We wore the wheels off one of the suitcases getting to our room! No view, room had unusual sailboat theme. No screens on windows so I dealt with mosquito bites and flies visiting. No AC but fan was good to have. No table in the room to partner with the two chairs. We liked having refrigerator. Barking dogs everywhere - not good. Local food unremarkable. Jumped on someone\'s unsecured wi-fi and it worked.

Our room was very clean, and it was like having a private apartment in old Venice. There is little to know hostel atmosphere, which is the trade off to such a secluded location. Definitely would stay there again, but probably not with a big group.

The location it's perfect but it has a extra fee for night & for person so this must be included in the final price not at your arrival, the recepcionist is very unkind.

Pros: location cleanliness Value for Money (vs. other places in Venice) Cons: Hot water: random "paper" walls: if your neighbors are noisy, that may be an issue.

Helpful and friendly staff, clean, and wonderfully close to the train station. The only bad part was the beds - they were crazy uncomfortable.

The hOstel is great, clean and spacious...the only problem is its quite far from the place that we have to checkin..one more thing is for those who make a booking by debit card they need to recomfirm the booking 24hours upon arrival, which i find difficult as im hitchhiking traveller..

NO wifi!!!! Other than that it was great. Perfect location literally ON the grand canal opposite the train station. Perfect to walk everywhere from. Came with lots of free tea coffee and biscotti toast things. My room was on the grand canal so even though it was raining I could still enjoy Venice. Loveliest lady at the reception too.

The hostel isn´t a real hostel. It´s more a appartment building without main kitchen or room to meet other people. But it is very clean and with a gool location near the waterbus and near the bus arrival from the airport. You can easily walk to the center vo venice or go by boat. I recommend this place and I would stay there every time again. Only WiFi and a common kitchen would be nice. Thank you!!!

Worst hostel experience of my entire life! The rooms are a 45 minute walk away from reception, the lady at the front desk gave us the wrong keys and we had to walk ALL the way back. She was horribly rude but stayed because she refused to give me a refund. The rooms are fine and it is cheap, but I would NOT recommend!

Nice clean dorm rooms with big beds and lockers. Good value for money. Good location (but difficult to find as there is no sign at all on the door). Staff reasonably helpful but somewhat surly and unfriendly. Wasn't given any warning the internet room would close. No social area. Generally ok.

The room was too dimly lit and the bed too small. Although it is clean and quite close to the center, I might not recommend and would rather pay a little more next time for a better room.

The hoslet is clean and secure, its check-in office is not far from the bus station, whereas the rooms are quite in the city centre, in about 20 minutes walking from San Marco Square. The location was very convenient: Grand Canal, Strada Nuove (the central street with small shops and cafes) and a supermarket are near. The room itself was clean, with a TV set, refrigerator and a kettle. The only thing that the hostel fails to provide is a common kitchen to cook something and to socialize.

Would be helpful to have a sign on the main door, as it doesn't look obviously like a hostel!

individual lockers for each bed, plenty of outlets, a mini fridge, no plates or spoons though, but when we checked in the lady told us where the nearest grocery store was and how to get to all of the main touristy sites and it was a really really nice room for the price i highly recommend it, its very easy to get to from the train station

We booked different dorms for different nights and would have had to move each night so the staff was very accomodating and put us in a private 3 bed for the entire stay (with no extra charge). The street the hostel we stayed in was very creepy but once we got to the hostel we had many locked doors to get through so it felt very safe. Our room and bathroom was cleaned every day, had a kettle and a fridge which was a great bonus. Great location close to bus/ train station and the student bars.
