Pretty nice hostel, one of the best I've ever stayed in!

I booked a private room and found it was located a considerable distance away from registration- had to haul luggage over four bridges. This also meant that there was nobody available to ask questions. Other than that everything was fine.

I really enjoyed this place - it has bag loads of character; some may find it a long trek with luggage from the bus/train station though.

The room we had was much nicer than it looked on the photos, which is always a surprise! It was in a great location too - the reception was a short walk from the bus station, and the the room only a 15 minute walk, very central and made everything very accessible. The bedroom and bathroom was also very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee. For cheap private accommodation in Venice this is the best, we were really pleased. The only problem was the shower head

Great location - easy to walk to. Stairs are just part of the deal. Beds a little lumpy.

The single room suited me just fine. OK, it's small, doesn't have a view and the fridge makes too much noise, but where else can you find a clean room with private bathroom, in a good location (cannarregio 2260) for this money? If you want to stay in a hostel to meet other people there might be better places because there is no hangout space, but if you want to see as much as you can of the city, this is perfect. PS: fat people might have a problem entering the shower.

Basic, simple accommodation. One thing that annoyed me, was that the reception to the hostel is 20 minutes away from the hostel itself. If you're carrying lots of luggage it's quite a treck, and I don't think the description is explicit enough. Actual hostel location is good though.

The location was perfect for us since we we wanted to be close to the gehtto for the weekend. Problem is you never really know where you room will be in venice because they decide on the spot at the check in office. Two things you should know: There are mosquitos& the ceiling over the toilet is so low you cannot pee standing up. If you keep shabbat we recommend telling them not to turn off the fan and lights when the com to tidy the room! The room was small and cute and with a refrigerator
