It took some time to figure out the location of the office, and the walk from there to my designated hotel was like 20 minutes. Which is not much, but considering Venice is pedestrian only, lugging around my bags for all that duration was a bit cumbersome. Location of room was good though. It was very reasonable to begin with, so wasn't at all expecting much. But sticky floor and no wifi?? Its not super bad. Fine if you're roughing it out. But i've stayed in way better hostels for similar costs.

Pros: 1. The ambience gives me a mysterious feeling of living in an ancient street of Venice. 2. Got hot water boiler and some tea bags. good as tourists might wanna drink some hot water after walking in cold weather. Cons: 1. The check-in office is not near the place I stay. In fact, we took the water bus to go from the check-in office to the place we stayed. 2. the counter did not give the WIFI pw to us. When we get to the hostel, we find that we forgot to ask so we can't use the WIFI!

It was okay. Nothing particularly impressive or terrible. They didn't have Wi-Fi, which, while we didn't spend much time in the room, was still a bit annoying. I'd probably seek out somewhere else next time. The cleaning staff did find and return my passport, so that part was outstanding and I'm very thankful to them!

Very clean unit. Very very very friendly staff. The room was quite sterile and lacked character, however it was very clean and we did not spend much time in the room since there is so much to see and do in Venice.

The staff at Dimora dei Fiori was very kind and helpful. The hostel is in a nice neighbourhood and easy to reach. It was a pity that our room wasn't very cozy and that the separate bathroom wasn't in the room but opposite. Also in the winter there schould be another woolen blanket, because it was a little bit too could at night.
