Everything o.k., with one exception, I did not manage to get the radiator working.

Great value for money, although can be a little bit noisy.

It's a quiet, simple, clean hostel with very friendly staff.

When I checked in at the main office. I was asked if I wanted to stay in that building instead of across town. That was perfect b/c the room is across from the train station. It was a big room with 8 bed but, had lots of outlets and good AC. The floor is at 3 degree sloop but, chalk it up to sinking Venice. There is an old PC you can use to check email. I'd stay again.

Got there very late, and the secretary was very irritable at being woken up (it's not 24 hour). The instructions are not great to find reception, and when you get there you have to walk across the other side of Venice to your room, which is in a flat.

The woman at the check-in desk was amazingly friendly and helpful. I stayed at the dorms in the check-in office and they were very clean, and I met other people staying there even without a common room. The front door to the hostel is unmarked, so pay attention to the addresses as you walk along the Grand Canal.

The apartment was in the middle of town, so it had a great location. But it was essentially a big room with a few beds and a fridge and kettle. So, it does lack in a social area and a kitchen. But that said, I still had a great time here.
