After taking a shower with cold water, we founf out how to start warm water! There was a seperate tap in the bathroom to start warm water, It should be placed in ''on'' mode by default!

The toughest part is to find the office at 555 santa croce, no one seems to know what santa croce is. On different maps it has different names. But once there everything is smooth and the room is big and clean. Another thought is about Venice, the city is filthy with dog pee everywhere, smells bad, and no ramps anywhere, so if you have a stroller, luggage, wheelchair you will live hell.

Depsite the fact that there are no kitchen and common room it's a nice hostel! I enjoyed my stay there! It's very clean, the towels and the linen are included and it's 3minutes walked from the train station, which is really convenient in Venice because walking in the small streets with the lugages is quite hard there! You can also have coffee, tea and a little breakfast in your room for free! And the staff is nice too!

Easy to follow directions from the bus station. My single room was about a 20 min walk away in a different building. No wifi and no one to ask questions unless you wanted to schlep back to the main building. It was a decent enough place to sleep at night, but nothing stands out about the hostel.

If you arrive into Venice by train or bus (from the airport use the bus, EUR5), this is a prime location. Streets of Venice are really busy & cobbled, and this accom is perfectly located for dropping luggage & heading off to explore the city. The accom was just around the corner from the check-in desk, but we were shown exactly where to go - absolutely no fuss. Loads of restaurants &shops close by, and an easy walk to the main sights. Use the water taxi (EUR6.50) as a means to see the canals!

Twin room was clean and tidy and newly decorated with ensuite bathroom.Nice view over a canal. Very good value for money for a budget accomodation and located within walking distance of all ammenities, shops, the grand canal and Rialto Bridge. The lady at the reception was polite and welcoming she informed us where we can get cheap food in a decent restaurant and supermarket. Will definitely stay there again if I go back to Venice. Many thanks. Ash from London

The hostel- more like a hotel room we were allocated was beautiful. Room was clean and pretty with a lovely en suite, tv, fridge and tea facilities. It was just off main shopping street and minutes away from the rialto and st marks. We were really pleased. Bed was comfy, staff at key pick up were very helpful and we loved it. Perfect base for sight seeing. Venice is beautiful and the rooms at dimora are a perfect place to fall into after a day of exploring.

It was the smallest room I've ever been in. It was also the best I could hope for with what I wanted to spend during Carnevale (4 nights cost me around €175, if I recall). My only advice: bring LIGHT LUGGAGE as not only are you going to haul your bags through the city from the desk reception to where your room is, as the buildings they rent for rooms are old and few (if any) have elevators. Mine didn't. I was on the second floor with more bags than I care to mention and it was hell.

I booked a private room and found it was located a considerable distance away from registration- had to haul luggage over four bridges. This also meant that there was nobody available to ask questions. Other than that everything was fine.

Hello guys, my name is Fernanda, i'm 19 and my mom is 38, we're from brazil. we've been in Venice last december and stayed at Dimora dei Fiori. We had a great time there, Venice is very charming. The rooms are very clean, warm, located in a calm place and there's all the facilities we need. The hostel is in a great location, just across the bridge in front of the train station and there's loads of supermarkets, restaurants and pizza places around.
