Everything was wonderful. The only complaint we had was all of the mosquitos!

I was amazed after staying in several different hostels in Cairo over years that I have been coming back to Egypt at how unique and lovely Dina's Hostel was. The standards of cleanliness, inexpensive prices, the variety of breakfasts, friendly and engaging staff, spacious rooms, cozy common areas made my stay delightful from the beginning to the end. Dina's Hostel is where I will be coming back to on my next visit to Egypt. I highly recommend this hostel!

The breakfast is good but it could be bigger. The staff is always willing to help you.

We stayed for four night at private twine. It was great. The first our room was located along the big street so it was too noisy. Then they switched to quiet room. Right after our arrival, the driver picked us up at 3am! We're glad to find him easily. They also arranged the tour for us. The only thing I can complain is mosquitos.

The staff at Dina´s Hostel were helpful and friendly. My sister and I had a good stay. Even when I wasn´t at the hostel that night an employee flagged down a cab for me to go to the airport. I would go again and my sister already has. :)

I ended up staying at Dina's much longer than I planned. This was because it feel like an oasis in the chaos of Cairo. The place is very clean, comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I did the tour of the pyramids and Alexandria through Dina's and was very happy. I am a woman traveling alone and I feel very safe at Dina's. Also, I loved the fact that you get to meet fellow travelers, exchange tourist stories/experiences, etc. in the common areas. It beats the Marriott

Great place to stay! The staff will make sure you get where you want to go and will put a smile on your face. Nice atmosphere in the lounge area because of the great Arabic music! Fairuz, Amr Diab and Oum Kultoum!

Even though Nadiawas really helpful in planning our trip, the staff, especcially the women tried to charge us several times even though we had already paid. It was really annoying and it showed a lack of organization. The showers are poor. When more than one person is taking a shower all of them turns really cold.

All in all good. The place is clean and homely. Just don't look out of your windows into the inner courtyards of the building. There is an abundance of trash. Not the hostel's fault, just a Cairo standard. The hostel only occupies the 5th floor of the building. The elevator is a bit of an adventure. Morning staff seemed a bit clueless and disorganized at times. On the upside there was no sales pressure for tours. I would stay there again.

Dina's is a great place to stay in Cairo- The hostel and rooms are nicely furnished (plants!), clean, and bright, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's always a diverse crowd of interesting people passing through, and Dina's also holds regular film viewings and cultural events that attract locals and travelers alike. I especially like the location- its easy to walk to Tahrir or Zamalek, catch the metro to Maadi or Dokki, or a quick taxi ride to Nasr City/Heliopolis.

Excellent hostel. Charming, like the character and ambience with the lounge area and use of nice furniture too. Toilets were clean, well upkept and rooms were nice and cosy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with changes for variety. However, some points to note. Mosquitos are a bit of a problem. And the traffic can get really noisy even at night. Overall high marks for this great hostel!!

Genuinely loved staying here! Dina (and the rest of the staff) were super helpful when it came to advice about all of the tourist destinations. The rooms were really nice, I stayed in a 10 bed mixed dorm and didn't have any problem getting to sleep. The only downside is that you have to walk up 5 flights of stairs, but it's actually a lot better than most of the hostels in town, that are on the 9th or 10th floor. Probably one of my favorite hostel stays I've ever had. 5 stars all around!

Dina's Hostel is right downtown, so you can't beat the location. It is a well staffed hostel too (including cleaning crew)! Beds comfortable in good sized rooms. The bathrooms are ok, but drainage isn't the best and there are Mosquitos. I highly recommend a stay here!

Very friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff, particularly Dina. Good location (note that Lonely Planet's map shows it in the wrong street), central but not noisy, the place is clean and well organized, with a relaxing atmosphere. Definitively good value.
