Staff was polite, helpful, friendly, and reasonable. I got multiple mosquito bites from showering at night. It's ok I learned to shower in the morning :) Kitchen was always stocked with tea and coffee, Thankyou for that :-)

This is probably an ok place if you are a gap year backpacker. The room we had was incredibly basic. Itchy blankets and pillows well past their sell by dates. No towels and grubby carpets. its a very basic hostel. There seemed to be an awful lot of to-Ing and fro-Ing around a very cramped reception. We only stayed one night and then found a cleaner safer feeling place around the corner that was actually cheaper. Just cos somewhere is cheap is no excuse for grubby!

Dina herself and Dina's offer a very welcoming, friendly, well organised and professional service which is made even more valuable given it's set in downtown Cairo. As 'things' in Egypt just have a habit of not going as anticipated. This is even more creditable in the current political environment of the country. Examples include - being picked up at the airport as organised, despite arriving 2 hours late; regulalrly checking I had arrived at the destination (in this case Dahab) due to flooding

Dina's Hostel is a gem in the middle of Cairo. It is affordable, central, cozy and has everything you expect from a budget hostel. I have nothing but positive things to say, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful!!

Dina's Hostel is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I have traveled to 3 continents, visited over 15 countries, and have stayed in countless budget hotels and hostels. This is the best. Why? Because the quality of service provided by Dina's staff is exemplary. The staff are warm, kind, and genuinely interested in getting to know their guests. I was invited to a remarkable engagement party by the hostel staff and Dina was kind enough to personally drive me back home. Stay at Dina's.

Staff was great. Very clean and friendly, able to offer suggestions and tips for Cairo. Lots of long-term guests gave the hostel an intimate, community-like feeling. Location was a little farther from things I needed but I'm pretty sure that was mostly because I kept getting lost. Reliable internet, excellent service. Was nice that the staff ordered food in most nights from places that were a good value so after a full day of work I didn't have to think about that also. Highly recommended!

We have been at Dina's Hostel for the second time now and really appreciate the friendly atmosphere there, as well as how professionally it is run. If you care about a neat and clean accommodation, a service-orientated and quite well English speaking staff, good advices on everything you are planning during your stay, Dina's Hostel is the place to be!

Honestly, one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Relaxed enviroment with friendly staff ( especialy Nana ) If you are in Cairo, you should stay at Dinas. p.s Remember to ask for the mosquito repellent adaptors and mosquitos wont be a problem.

Clean, convenient, safe, friendly and a great bargain—that’s Dina’s Hostel. Rooms are large, spotless, and quiet, the bathrooms impeccable, the beds comfortable. Internet is available. Breakfasts are simple, tasty. Airport transfers are reliable, and a bargain. Internet is available for 5EP per hour. There is an elevator. The atmosphere is open, friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay there again

The staff at Dina's was great. They not only made us feel welcome but very safe in Cairo. It is one of the best hostels I have stayed at to date. The staff help us organize a tour of the pyramids and even sent someone over to the train station to purchase overnight train tickets for us. This place get s at 10 from me!

Dina's Hostel is definitely a great experience, friendly staff, nice common room to meet other travellers. I'd recommend booking in advance to make sure you get the type of room you want as it can fill up quickly but they will definitely do there best to accomodate you. The only reservation is that the internet doesn't quite reach back to all the rooms but this generally encourages more interaction with other travellers and is only and issue if you need to have a private Skype conversation.

Again, it's the 2nd time that we stayed in Dina. Same awesomeness! Nena helped us to call chinese food delivery when we were so tired to go out, that was so nice and thankful:) Plus it was a movie night, unfortunately we were too tired to finish the movie.

The showers were not the best as they are combined with the toilet and this amkes it hard not to get everything wet but good value for money

The hostel is a great value but the best thing about the hostel is the staff. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Especially Nana the receptionist, who made every effort to accommodate my last minute change in plans in Cairo. The bathroom and toilet are together, but there are multiple bathrooms and showers so it was not a problem.
