I have stayed at Dina’s hostel twice, and I love it. As a female traveller alone in Cairo, it was great having Dina’s Hostel to get home to every day. I always felt safe and the atmosphere and the people made me feel like home. The staff is kind and helpful. Especially, I want to thank the receptionist Nana for being like a big sister to me and always making me in a good mood when hanging out in the common areas. Dina’s hostel is an amazing place to stay and I would definitely recommend it :)

Really enjoyed my stay at Dina's. Great location in Downtown, wonderful staff who know the city, cheap, wifi throughout, large common area, free breakfast, the list goes on..... Sad to be moving on after something like twelve days here. You should stay here if you're coming to Cairo!

Thanks very much Dina! Was like a home for us in Cairo. We got a towel-made heart from the Nena, thanks:)

Paid in the morning, the girl at reception said that she hadn´t enough money to change, and if she could give me back later, it was about 10 or 20 EGP to return. I said no problem, So during the day nothing happened, I just though she forgot, in the late evenning when I asked her nearby, she said she had forgot, and asked me in an indirect way IF I CAN GIVE HER THE MONEY AS TIP, tip is ok, 10 or 20 EGP is nothing for me, but not in this DISHONEST way, and only if I want!

This place is great...it's location is excellent and the staff and owner are amazing. It's a bit noisy and cold in the winter time, but otherwise quite nice.

I'm so glad my friends and I stayed here on our last trip to Egypt. It's amazingly well priced and the people there are wonderful. The staff go above and beyond the call of duty to help you out; Dina stayed up well past 4am helping us arrange a trip to the desert and a Nile cruise-two excursions which I highly recommend-and Mohammed is awesome too. The kitchen has a fridge well stocked with water/soda/beer, the rooms are huge, the toilets clean, and you get breakfast and coffee in the morning.

Dina's is an excellent choice in Cairo, no doubt about it. Wonderful staff. Very clean, hot showers, good wifi, different breakfast every morning, central location. Besides from the usual tours etc Dina's also occasionally arrange events that attracts a local crowd - while I was there they had a Palestinian movie night. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Cairo in a week or so... :)

Dina's hostel was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. The hostel is in a great location right in the centre of downtown Cairo, with the most helpful and friendly staff (special thanks to Nena and Mohammed!). The hostel has a lot of character and a great atmosphere, and the complimentary breakfast is good. If I ever go to Cairo again, I will definitely stay here.
