There are no lockers in the rooms and too few power points. Besides that it was all good, great relaxed atmosphere with pool in the back and nice & helpful staff.

I love that we got free breakfast and free laundry after 2pm. That was great value for money! Although I didn't like how one of the members of staff came into my room and demanded me to put a croissant that I took from breakfast to eat later back in the kitchen. I thought that was incredibly stingy of them to ask me in such an interrogating manner.

FANTASTIC breakfast, great location and helpful staff. Nice place to stay, though a bigger indoor area would be good for socialising during the wet season.

By far the best hostel we've stayed at in Australia. Great, welcoming arrival from the brown-haired girl on reception - I was recovering from food poisoning so she found us a room to ourselves for the night as they had space. Really clean rooms and great AC. Pool great to cool down in. Kitchen was nice, overlooking pool with lots of tables dotted about both inside and out. Showers and toilets really clean. Breakfast was certainly one to remember, everything you want and more is there!

Staff was very friendly, owner is a bit of an ass but he seems to mean well. There are some longer term residents who like to stay up late/drink too much, which was annoying at times. It's not the best hostel in the world, but you'll be hard pressed finding something better in Darwin.

It's on the main strip, but about a block away from all the noise. It was clean and relaxing. No drama.

This has to bee the best Hostel I have stayed at, not only in Australia but all time. Because in my opinion it`s cheap and you still get a great hostel. It`s not to big and you have a range av great facilities. First of all they don't charge for laundry and dryer, that is a big pluss. The pool is nice, and during my stay I saw then clean the pool several times. At other hostels I have never seen them clean the pool. Everything looks clean and you see them cleaning everyday. and it`s central.

Lockers either in the rooms or something smaller in the office for important documents e.g. Passports / tickets would be more secure

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! It is a very social and fun hostel, great when travelling alone! I will recommend it for anyone travelling to Darwin. They have the best free hostel-breakfast I have ever seen, and the staff is fun and helpful :) If I ever go to Darwin again, I am definetly staying here!

A nice, small hostel. not located in the heart of CBD, not still convenient to walk to the centre centre in just 10 mins. not too crowded, just the style i like. can really sit back and relaxed in this hostel. hquite good overall. rooms for improvement: bigger washing bowl in toilets nd shower rooms; maybe a small table in the dorm room, more space to put our things.

Great free breakfast each morning. Staff really helpful and friendly. Communal areas cleaned daily. Great location, close enough to the nightlife but far enough down the road to not hear it if you want an early night. Shame there isn't any lockers in the dorms and shame the wifi costs so much with Global Gossip. Good pool and free laundry are other bonuses of Dingo Moon. Would stay here again.

Brilliant hostel, on main street but at the top end so not too loud and very relaxed. Free Breakfast, free laundry and swimming pool were fantastic additions. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Internet facilities were very good and fast. Rooms were clean, bedding was clean and beds comfortable. The shared toilet and shower facilities were clean and adequate . Kitchen fine although equipmecleaning nt i.e dish clothes and tea towels did get a bit manky, would return and reccommend!

Great location I mean you can't get more central in Darwin than right in the heart of Mitchell Street. Staff were awesome, the pool is awesome just found a few minor cleanliness issues with the room, it wasn't enough to make me want to walk out. Do recommend this place if you are in the top end, because mainly many of the other hostels in the area are well dodgy. Plus the brekky was good too.

The staff were friendly enough but not the best I have come across on my travels. There is a code access to main gate which is nice, however, there are no lockers or safety boxes and I felt a little conscious of my belongings. Nice pool and good kitchen facilities.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is ideally located, just outside the city center but still on a 5 minute walk distance to it.
