Great hostel, very clean with friendly staff and guests (at least when i stayed) good location, 5 minute walk to bars and shops. quiet at night and a nice free breakfast and laundry so makes the cost seem more reasonable! no complaints at all!

Great place where to relax and meet people. The stuff is very friendly and everything works fine. Good for the pool!

Staff were amazing. Very helpful, friendly and willing to book taxis and provide useful information. Only stayed for one day but was really happy with location as so close to town.

The dingo moon lodge is perfectly located, it is 5 minutes walk from all the madness, ensuring you can have a good nights sleep. Speaking to other guests, this and YHA are the best hostels in Darwin by far. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The kitchen facilities seem to be cleaned daily and are of a good standard. LOCKERS in the rooms please, it's all this hostel is lacking, if you are going on a trip from darwin for a few days, leaving your valuables on your bed isn't good!

Great breakfast and price is good for Darwin. Very noisy only calmed down between 2 and 6 am never stayed somewhere so uncontrolled for noise!

Very noisy for two out three nights due to drunken guests larking about and shouting all night. No chance if getting any rest . No facility to report such behaviour at the time.

Staff was rude, lazy and ignorant like I have never seen before. Short version: Refused to extend my stay during work shift - was busy talking with other guest. Result: next morning I had no place to stay (all hostels were full by then), asking locals for help. Rest of hostel not impressive: no lockers, no free wifi, typical backpacker people, small hot room, cold showers. Location is good and breakfast is alright. If that is the best hostel of Darwin... oh boy... It was an atrocious experience.

Amazing free breakfast but no nice, comfy places to sit just plastic patio furnature. Very clean, shame no free wifi

My stay at dingo's was fantastic. All the people were great and it's easy to meet new people since it is a quite small hostel. The only thing is that it is fairly expensive. But then again, so are all the hostels in Darwin. Staying at dingos really made Darwin a great place to stay at. Pool is nice, and omg the free breakfast is the best I've had in months!

Very dirty ... Lots of ants in room.... Yha across the road is a much cleaner and friendly hostel!

The rooms are cleaned and bins emptied everyday. We recommended you and your roommates don’t leave any food in your dorm which attracts ants. When you reported ants in your dorm, we came immediately & sprayed the dorm for insects. We found dirty dishes covered in ants. All our guests are happy to spend time together during day and evenings at Dingo Moon as it is friendly. Also we offer a great free breakfast with pastries, yogurt, fruit and so on, we provide free laundry, a good swimming-pool

It's an ok hostel but so could do better, a good size pool!

very helpful friendly staff , location is excellent not too far from night life , bed was comfy , and air conditioned , chilled atmosphere ,would recommend and would stay again loved it

Staffs were very friendly and helpful especially Anthon he was great help whatever we need or request...Thanks!!! Facilities were clean...I enjoy it a lots..Will stay there again....

Great cheap hostel on Mitchell Street. Has a great pool and good cooking facilities. The only downside is lack of comfortable chilling space. Ok if you want to sit on a plastic chair or a bench but maybe some outdoor bean bags would be a good idea.
